My favorite song on the Album

56 years on the Earth and conclude Beside You, specifically this version, is my all time favourite piece of music and verse. It resonates, it moves me and heals me. There are moments in it, very fleeting ones, that send me somewhere good. I occasionally think of meeting the man and wonder what I'd say. It would have to be...thank you. Thank you for all the the thousands of hours, years of listening, enjoyment and emotional management you've given me.

Every musician in Van's band is superb or he wouldn't have them. But the star of the show is always - always - Van's vocals.
