I love that you said "I'm not going to pretend they're all from an eco. Store, but ive had it a long time" that Is also the key to sustainability, keeping things! I was genuinely surprised by the amount of clothes, realised I can have more than I thought, was going to move into our van with like 3 outfits 😂

I didn't realize how much that box could fit haha! Very interesting video and I agree that clothes should be kept in a cycle as long as possible. I try to get most of my stuff second hand - it's good for the environment and the wallet ☺The waterproof birkenstocks are great! I've had a pair for over a year and I love them!

Great video and tips. My husband and I bought a boat recently which we will be living on while sailing around seeing the world and I was wondering how I was going to make the most off the limited space. The packing cubes are a great idea. 👍

Absolutely love this video and it’s so handy!! Thank you for sharing. Just to second your comment about the Birkenstocks, I have the same shoe in white and they are amazing. I wanted white shoes but can’t stop getting them dirty, you can literally use bleach on them and they go from grimy to brand new.

I started the first few years of van life only in hot places :) would follow the sun! So maybe I’ll have to do an updated one!

Where are the realistic clothes? We get hardly any sun and even on a sunny day, it's freezing by early evening. You might as well have 2 summer outfits and the rest jumpers and dressing gowns.

Realistic for what country? 😊 In the video you’d have seen my jumpers and coat, since I live in a small space bulky items like coats and jumpers have to be minimal too! Which is why I only have a couple :) I just wear that one coat whenever I need to :) Also, if you’ve been following along you may have noticed that I spend most of my time escaping to warmer places. In the United Kingdom we say pants for underwear and trousers for long leg wear 😊 American is like a whole new language to me!
