Amazing island, I would love to live there and see my final days in such a beautiful country, although I am english I have Scottish ancestry and that holds very dear to my heart.

@@kalodner666 It is such a beautiful place, I completely understand why you would want to live there. It truly lives up to its nickname ‘Scotland in miniature’, doesn’t it. And to have ancestry from the area must make it all the more special for you.

I love this. That scenery gave me goosebumps. I'm looking forward to returning to the Western Isles for a fifth time in the next to distant future and hopefully the next time I do it'll be to live there. Keep up these great videos. It looks like you ladies had a lot of fun!

@@TheGirlGoneNomad Only once i cycled round it in 2016. I can to the south west coast of Scotland in August i can see the Ilse of Arran from the seafront in the town where i live i cycled round the Isle of Bute and the ilse of Cambrae last year. I've never been up Goatfell.

That looked like a really cool adventure, Betsy✨ We would love to own a van to do what you did😍 Hopefully soon! I am glad the weather got better for you guys and you paddle and swam! How cold was the water? 🌊

You could go on some wonderful road trips. The sea was quite cold, colder than the lakes, but it was refreshing, a great way to wake up in the morning :) Have a fantastic week :)

@@TheGirlGoneNomad Hi, not really, I like it all from the granite mountainous North to the forestry and farmland of the south and everything in between. I also like all the quirks about the island like the Doctors Bath in Corrie, the standing stones in Machrie and of course sunsets from Pirnmil and plenty more. I do like a good storm when we are cut off for a few days in winter.

I've just researched the Doctors Bath in Corrie, I hadn't heard of it before, what a great natural shoreside pool. Well I'm sold, like to visit in all seasons now to get the true Arran experience!

Great vlog, brings back so many memories for me from my college days 36 years ago. There is so much to see on the island than you covered in this vlog. There's a great walk starting at Lochranza around to the Cock of Arran and then coming back overthe hils back into Lockranza(6 miles or so ). Thank you for the recommendations on where to visit, something to aim for if I go back. The walk you mention sounds beautiful, and the Drumadoon still something else! I certainly wish I had had more time to stay longer, but maybe it’s a good excuse to go back!
