I don't know what it is about this lady, but I find she's very grateful and organized.
Bob, you’ve done it again! You found another absolutely fabulous person doing exactly what she wants and caring for her pet. Just absolutely down to earth person with all the essentials one needs to live the life they want to live. God bless you both and thank you for reinforcing why I want/need to be a nomad! God bless God bless God bless.

No way! She’s doing it somehow
I really love this lady. What a beautiful soul and Self sufficient Her kitty is adorable
Did Vanlife in 1981 all over CA for a year. One of the happiest times of my life. My friend 42 years later is still doing the van life and is happy. Seriously considering going back to it 45 years later even though I live in a comfy home. To an old guy like me comfort is a curse really. A house is a place to settle in to die, not experience living.
Not only did she do a great job but she is really intelligent and seems easy to talk to.
She navigated the space for her needs amazingly 🎉
To this nice lady. I had a friend who had planned for years what he was going to do when he retired. His plan was get a big 5h wheel monster rig and pull it with his massive truck. After 3 years of traveling he sold everything. He then bought a Toyota Prius. He then purchased a used motorcycle camper to pull. He said he travels the country at 40mpg! You might just be interested in a motorcycle camper!

Smort, love my faithful Prius.
I love how caring she is for her Kitty. And to be able to travel in such a small place❤❤❤❤❤
She's done a brilliant job of her Prius Home! ❤
I love the diversity of the folk that Bob has on his channel :)
Wow her vehicle and her Nomad setup is an oasis of great ingenuity we're certainly not all rich

I don't think anyone exactly chooses to live in their vehicle. I think most of us come here in fear of this outcome, I do.

@@edie4321that’s the difference between houseless and homeless. She made the choice to before it could have possibly be forced upon her.
Wise & perceptive to do a super recharge after 30 comprehensively emotionally draining years.
The heat and ac is absolutely fantastic……especially in the desert 🏜️🇺🇸

She’s very thorough…nice job🙏
Love the way she thinks. She got this!
Window tint regulations usually only apply to the front windows, so she should be fine.
Great story. Very gutsy lady. I admire her courage in taking control of her life.
Thanks, Bob, I enjoy videos like this because it helps keep me straight as a Nomad living in my converted conversion van. I sometimes find myself wishing I had more space, I'm too cramped, I need a bigger vehicle, etc. Then I see a video of what this woman's doing, and I feel like okay, I probably have enough space, I just need to use it better like she is doing. I wish her a lifetime of safe travels.

@OverlandOne - I've been planning (for the future) of what kind of van to get for living in. Being that you live in a conversion van, I'm curious as to how it is not having enough head space to stand up in? I realize we spend most of our time sitting or laying down, but when the weather is bad it's not so easy (or nice) to go outside to stretch out. I was looking at a semi high top conversion van similar to the one in your main picture here, but am just concerned about the longevity of living in a space where I can't stand up fully. Perhaps I'm making a bigger deal out of it in my mind than it actually is though?

@ Ikarianofficial. Have you given any thought to having a hightop added on? Bob has at least one video about that - likes an outfit in California and probably some other places, too. A few thou&and bucks or so. Great investment opportunity perhaps.
Nicely organized. I am in awe of people who can make a car work.
Hello, hello everybody from Puerto Rico
I’ve been living in my Prius C for 5 years. Luvin every minute of it.

The C actually has more head room.
What a great build. Loved it! And I love that she was able to make space for her pet. Just a woman and her cat hitting the road. So precious. God Bless! ❤✌🏽
Very good car home. I love it
Amazing!!!! I am always impressed with the resourcefulness of the RTR crew…I love the simplicity! Great job! Thank you, Bob!
I had a 2010 Honda insight and when stopped at a light the engine would shut off for eco but the ac shut off too😳🤷🏼♂️ because the ac ran off the engine with a belt🤦🏼♂️ so in hot Florida summer you were sweating till the light changed green…one reason I wished I would have gotten a Prius because the Prius ac runs independent 👍🏻
Bob, I never cease to be amazed at what people can do with these small cars. If I weren't disabled & need more room...this is close to what I would choose. Have a blessed and beautiful day. LUCRETIA
I watch almost all of your video's Bob and have to say that Heather is in the top 5% of folks with knowlege of what she has, where she got it, WHY she got it, specifics and other options. I love understanding the "why" behind things, she explained everything..I think this is one of the better folks you've toured with. Heather I'm off to subscribe to your channel now.
I have to say, Heather, you have really worked out a comfortable space for you and your kitty. I don’t know if I could have a cat in such a small space. I do relate to your “why”. I’ve been either in a relationship, raising kids or both plus caring for other family members since I was 18. That’s 50 years! I’m working towards getting out on the road - hopefully soon.
She is nearly as tall as Bob, and this still works for her. Good job!
@Heather_Trek, Thank You for your Social Services. You're a lovely human!
The most well spoken rig tour I've ever heard. She's really got her stuff together!
Like someone stated gutsy lady. She is very positive and using what she has to survive. God bless her.
OK this lady blows away anybody else with window cover ideas
I love her story of why she’s doing this! What a beautiful soul! Thank you!
Thanks for another nice presentation. Glad to hear Heather is starting to taking care of herself after always taking care of others. Amazing job she has done with her Prius. You find so many creative and sympathetic people Bob.
Very very good and motivational interview , thanks Bob
4 mins into your video uploading and I'm in. I'm going to check out her channel now. Good video and she has her Prius set up so nicely. 😊
this is leaving free with no bills 100.
Nice setup, my cat would be miserable in a tiny car. She likes to run, play, and have her privacy too.
Good job Heather. Living your life on your terms now😊
Holy cow! So impressive, and you have a cat too!
Great video Bob! Heather thanks for sharing your Prius nest. Love your ideas! Best of luck to you. Safe travels🌞🦋💖
I want to be friends with heather😂👍🏻. Great setup in her Prius. Thank you Bob!
She's got it made😊
Cool ❤
I have the exact same Prius and often think about camping in it as others are doing. Another great example of how it can be done. Love the drawers in the back and the first time I have seen a bed pan used, a great space saver. Glad to see her enjoying her life.
I understand her burnout with social worker and working for all family members' lives. I feel it, too, want to travel, but still have a small one with needs. still, i will take those trips here and there and savor every one of them like Heather. Thank you for showing us your Prius home!
This lady is absolutely lovely.❤
Amazing use of space. I love the temperature control!
She's doing great. I wouldn't choose to live like that but 👍 to her!
Kudos to her. Great attitude and use of space. Climate control in the desert is incredible. I don't think I could have a litter box so close to me though. I know she tries her best to keep it clean but that stuff is toxic when it gets in the air.
Such a great build in a Prius
I’ve camped in my Prius, and using the air conditioning in hot weather is terribly inefficient and impractical as the gas engine runs far too much and frequently to keep up. However, in cool weather, the heating system on recirculate can provide a nice room temperature environment with just occasional engine running to maintain the needs of the system.
I absolutely love how this channel shows pretty much any option can work
Hey Nikki, Nice to see you got rid of the gas guzzler sprinter and are back in the Prius.🎉
I am amazed at how ingenious these nomads are!
Pretty smart setup, and smart lady. I can only imagine the "road" that she has traveled to finally be able to do this - she's obviously got a great attitude & outlook. I wish her the best. But... she's got to make access to those board games easier! 😆
Good job, on your Prius build and your presentation.
My cat and I would just love that
Wow! It's amazing how Heather made do with what she has!! Many great ideas!
Love these vids I just moved from NZ to Colombia but want to buy a vehicle in USA and travel thru out central n sth america
She is so likable and real. What a clever use of space. I love that she travels with her cat- beautiful cat, too. Thank you for sharing. I am going to subscribe to Heathers a channel!
Bless her heart ❤😊🎉
Another incredibly inspirational guest 💜 I'm about ready to start my build very soon too. And maybe I'll see Heather out there on the road. 😊
God bless her!! To be honest, I don't think I could go that small but it's great to see that she has made it work for her.
She's truly made use of every inch. Amazing😊😊
This is awesome. I’m a wide bodied gal too so that made me laugh. I’m going to be living this way eventually. I’d love to have an animal when I do.
Well done Bob and Heather you are an inspiration. Thank you both for sharing this , much love and many blessings
I loved this. You are so considerate of the people you interview. Good job😊
Great story! We actually met Heather at the RTR this past January. We were parked beside her & chatted a bit. Enjoyed the video.
Wow, she has got great ideas. Great, great ideas.
I just saved a stainless bedpan for my van traveling shopping list on Amazon. They are extra absorbing padded liners for the bed pans. I’m retiring this summer from twenty-seven years of public school teaching in Milwaukee. 😊Now is my time.
Thank you Heather. You took the words out of my mouth. Your journey is inspiring and well felt.
Love it! Great gal. Boy, do I hear you about the burnout! Love the set up in her Prius- well done. And a cute cat! 🐈
Wow, great use of space. LOVE her jacket, I wish I knew where she got it! lol.
This woman is an inspiration. How did she get so wonderful?
The curved metal roof bar is a great idea!
What a wonderful gal!
Heather - your home is lovely. Great ideas. Thanks for sharing 🌸🌺🌼
Wow, I thought I was an adaptable person. This woman kicks my butt all day long. Such an small space and she makes it work with a cat. I'm a solar power nut so my only suggestion is to get some solar flexible panels to charge her batteries during the day. Other than that, I bow to this woman and her adaptability.
Thanks Bob
Great job 👏
That is some great organization I have seen in a long time for someone living in their car
That is so cool she has her cat. Really great set up
Enjoyed this storage and story also kitty. This lady seems all together, enjoy "your time".
👍👍. For her.
I look forward to my life on the road. I watch so many videos so I can learn everything I need to know before I begin my journey. I can't wait to meet Bob Wells
Lovely lady living her dream enjoying life 🎉
So amazing, wow!
Great video! Thank you, Bob and Heather! Love the toilet idea; she has it so figured out. And the zip up pillow case--gonna do that with my down throw that is for emergency use in my car while camping (or just traveling). Going to Heather's channel now to subscribe and consume! : )
What a fantastic Nomad. A brilliant person who seems to have it figured out.Safe travels and adventures.
Learn something new every day!
Awesome build & this lady is truly resourceful! Love her articulate voice style & her ingenuity! Happy trails & will definitely be following her journey!👍✅💯🫶
Very clever set up.
She's so smart. Great tips.
I have a ford escape I dont have her advantage of a huge battery for running a/c and heat easily but I could get a diesel heater and just follow the cool temps so I dont roast. Thanks for the video made me realize I can actually do it too.
Board games and brilliant build!
Wow! So organized and tidy👍👍👍
She’s amazing you found a very special person Bob. I will subscribe to her channel
Thank you Heather! Be safe out there and see everything you want to.
