Yes! We had weighted magnets on our balcony curtains so they wouldn’t fly around and they’d keep the bugs out. It kept them in place so they weren’t in the way when we were out there 🙌

One thing to be aware of with the UV filter - your water has to be “clear” in order for it to work. If you think that you might be getting water from “puddles” you will want to consider adding a sediment filter in order to make the UV filter completely effective.

Suggestion for drying the shower curtain: If you shower just before bed, leave the curtain up to dry while you sleep.

When you have more time here’s an idea. Make that table top lift up on hydraulics to the sealing with the shower curtain already attached.

Or, instead of that curtain, add 3 waterproof folding walls with some hinges and you have like a real shower cabin, less odours also 🙂 Offcourse, you have to waterseal the lower panels too.

I really like your bathroom. It may mean moving things, but in reality you move things all the time to access different things. I admire your ingenuity. I would love to have your skills.

Wow! It’s all coming together! The cushions look amazing! I would leave the shower curtain hanging until it’s dry so you won’t have a mold issue. You could move it from the cabinets to the other hooks while it drys so it takes up less space. What a luxury to have a shower! Looking forward to the move....so exciting!!

All I kept thinking of when I was watching this video is how well you two compliment each other. I kept vacillating between jealousy and admiration if I can be honest. I’m 31, single and was in the middle of rebuilding my life ground up when Covid-19 happened. Long story short, What you two are doing is difficult, it truly is the road less traveled. It’s exactly what I want, someday. Thanks for keeping the dream alive

Ideally you should have swapped the doors around, the bottom of diagonal bracing should be near the bottom hinge (not the top hinge like it is). Your doors will likely sag over time the way they currently are.

You can spray paint the water filter black to match the other faucet and use magnets on the ceiling to hold up the shower curtain. Leave it up until it is completely dry or you will get mold. Your van looks gorgeous what a great job guys!

I could watch Bob and Eamon do projects together any time.

Btw love the personal shoutouts at the end. And especially when you sign off with "bye Zach" or whoever was picked. Nice touch.

While i'm semi skeptical of the shower set up, I'm loving your creativity with it! I would 100% not want a fixed shower, I totally agree that you wouldn't use it as much as it would impact your space, when you're so tiny you have to think about where you are in the van and what you're doing the majority of the time. I can't wait to see how the shower set up progresses as you guys use it & figure it out!

We're 5 days out from the local tiny home festival and worked over the Fourth of July. We can empathize so much. It's crunch time! So glad you'll be moving into your CasaB soon! Love you guys!

For those peal and stick tiles try taking a heat gun to the adhesive side until they turn "glossy" and then lay them down. I use them in flip houses and had nothing but problems until someone told me that. You can also lay them down and space them out enough to put grout between, looks great and its easy to do.

those locking door handles are so sickkk. If I ever upgrade my van, i’ll be looking into those for sure

I think it will be really practical, if you have dirt and sand in the van and you can just brush it into the shower and let it disappear with some water. But now Bec has her new vacuum-present she never will use anything else I think xD

i legit just bought myself a dyson vacuum for my 30th birthday, HAHAHAHAHA!! i've been loving watching the build! i'm building out a shuttle bus and it's nice to watch others going thru it and conquering the day!

I always get so excited when I watch these. Then I get anxious thinking, "When I someday get my van, would I be able to do this?!". Loving the shower.

The “Hello, Christopher, is that you?!” part had me dying. I had to rewatch several times.

I love the shower/toilet set up. Only draw back is maybe the shower curtain will get mouldy if not fully dry. Hook on your rear door will do the job for drying it in summer/hot countries. Winter/wet weather 😮 not sure about but you'll work something out I'm sure. Really enjoying your channel. Love to you both from UK ♥💞♥️
