Phenomenal. Great sound all the way through. Nice job. Actually like your version over the original. It's better when the guitar volume is louder than the actual song. You hear the little things that usually get hidden by the vocals.

Man, I've always looked for a guitar cover for this song (especially a guitar that makes the intro). But man, seriously, that was far way better EVEN MORE than I thought it would be. I imagined it was going to be amazing, but then, when you put the harmonics on the breakdown... it brought more soul to the song, you make her be even better. and yeah feels so good is a great song as well and I agree about the evolution of the band and the playing. the Hagar era was more evolved and certainly the song writing was good.

Eddie was one of those players that played for the song, Incredible songwriter, He didn't play to brag or to show off his bombastic habilities in very song. The creator and the first man that played Tapping technique for the electric guitar and made it famous, before that I don't care If some Italian dude played some attempt of tapping on the Mandolin. The Spirit of Eddie will remain forever and He'll be alive every time we listen to his magic. R.I.P Mr. Eddie Van Halen.

Man I'm late by the date this video was released but I gotta say you put more emotion and soul into the soloing and licks of this song than Eddie himself! That 3:53 section just made my heart warm. Great job!

i dont know if you realize that in one take you had every note with every nuance nailed to the point of an unison with the solo, eddie would be very proud how you capture the feeling, let alone the technical accuracy and sound, is like you managed to extrapolate the guitar to a prominence and inject life to it just to show how it was done.
