It's a bs argument to begin with. When I play with my best friends, I play as hard as I can. Do I wanna lose against my best friend? Hell no, he will make me never forget that!

Charles Oakley, former team mate of Jordan, was traded and played with the Knicks, one of the best rebounders at that time.

Honestly, say what you want about Jordan’s demeanor on or even off the court, this was a statement filled with jealousy. Of course he wants to destroy them, he’s trying to win! Also, in his later years with the bulls, Jordan was a good 3 point shooter. He just didn’t do it much. He was so good at the midrange (normally a bad shot) that it forced teams to defend 3 levels of the floor instead of just the paint and the three. He’d kill everyone today with all that space!

It wasn't just that game, either. Jordan killed them the next time out, too, still trying to get back at Van Gundy. Jordan had zero chill, he imagined his own slights to motivate himself. Giving him free ammunition was stupid. Pat Riley always handled this brilliantly, he always praised Jordan no matter what. Even after he retired.

MJ once said in an interview that he does not like to shoot 3's all the time while standing around waiting for the ball. Does not want to be a one dimensional player but if he's pissed, trying to prove a point he will go with that scoring barrage. He played within the system not forcing shots. A difference he had with kobe. And besides Tex used to chew him if he wandered off the triangle

Hey, real talk. I remember growing up around this time seeing all the nba game's. It was just The Bull's always fucking won. Jordan dominated the '90s unlike anything I'd ever seen before in my young life, growing up. To the point where it got frustrating. That the Jordan's bulls got to be that good. And rarely lost a game in the entire regular season let alone a series in the playoffs was downright impossible. And that was one of the main reasons for van gundys comments, that's when you know you're really getting to people whenever you get reactions like that. And jordan of course just fed off it all. And just got better and better by absolutely punishing you on the court and destroying you. Death by fadeaways, a non-stop down powering of it not to mention all his dunks, steals and suffocating defense. He's clearly the whole package. Probably haven't seen a player like him besides Kobe. My man Manu ginobli and Kawi Leonard.
