As well as being big and strong, he's also really fast. He's also an immensely talented footballer and such a chilled guy. If I was a young centre back I'd love to have the opportunity to work with him. I reckon he's a really good influence in the dressing room. 💪🏆

VVD was injured. He was one of the best players in the world before. After that terrible injury he needed time. Now VVD is great again, simply the best.

People often don’t appreciate just how fast VVD is.

Just remember, as brilliant as Van Dijk is, he has elevated his game to a supreme level through being coached by Klopp and his team. This is a common thing at Liverpool these days. Players come in with great potential then become world class due to excellent coaching.
