Van Dijk might not win as many as Baresi (yet), but in terms of a modern CB, he’s the greatest EVER in terms of talent. There’s no other CB as big as he is, who’s as agile as elegant as quick and has such technique as VVD. He’s like if you have Jerome Boateng’s build with Bonucci’s skills with Godin’s defending and Varane’s pace. Just insane.

People just dont realize van dijk has a very low centre of gravity although he is 6 feet plus height..very helpful when he needs to use extra strength for those big strikers and marks the small attackers when they want to dribble tru him

He’s 6ft 4 dude, he doesn’t have a low centre of gravity at all 😂 and plus he’s bigger than most modern players he’s just physically dominant. Mike Tyson has a low centre of gravity compared to his opponents because he was 5ft10 which as a heavy weight is relatively small
