We live 35 miles from that park...yesterday I noticed that the recent downpours had left that same beautiful sand along both sides of our driveway. ❤ Thanks for another great video...I dropped in to get inspired to make a much needed reservation before the park gets too peoply...lol

Just came across this video. Boy how the shoreline has changed! A huge amount of the trees are gone and a lot of gravel stone has washed up on beach now.Climate change has a lot to do with it in my beliefs.I still love hiking along the dunes but have had to make new trails further back from the cliffs that have formed where the old trails used to be.Still a great place to live. Moved here in 1960 from Tucson. Still love Tucson but year around, South Haven ,Michigan. Campground and Van Buren State park tough to beat.

I grew up here and my family still goes to this campground love it!

Love this beach...and Megan's bay in st. Thomas was a total dump in comparison. Also there is water on site.

Actually the movie was shot at what is now Olive Shores County Park, about 50 miles north of Van Buren State Park. At any rate, the lakeshore looks about the same.

I got married on trunk bay. I have to say this is nowhere near as nice. And I love Michigan.
