VAN BUILD 19: We have plumbing! 30-gallon fresh water tank hook-up to my kitchen sink
For my DIY van build, so far I've gutted and polished the van interior (Van Build 01 & 02), insulated and installed my sub-floor and vinyl floor (Van Build 03 & 04), installed my Maxxair fan (Van Build 05) and DIYed some custom insulated window covers (Van Build 06). I finally moved onto the building phase of the van build. I built my wheel well boxes and bed frame (Van Build 07 & 08), set up my whole solar and electrical system (Van Build 09), and framed and built of the ceiling with lights! the ceiling (Van Build 10 & 11 & 12) The next step is the kitchen! I've prepped and handle some other tasks before that (Van Build 13 & 14). I finally moved onto my kitchen and gray water tank (Van Build 16), but things took a turn when I found a leak in my roof and hopefully fixed it, as well as hooked up my grey water plumbing (Van Build 17 & 18). You're not wrong about that tank being heavy, it's 243 pounds completely full lol (1 gallon of water is about 8.1 pounds)
Sarah great job. You might want to put in a inline water filter or the water will taste and smell like plastic.

thank you!! honestly plumbing was the hardest part and I def couldn't have done it without Trent lol I've added some pieces to the google sheet and my amazon storefront, it was super hard finding pieces and I'm struggling to find them online to link lol but I've added some!
Good job. One thing I would do is put a good small mesh screen on your air vent. Just to be safe. Don't want any kind of bug in there. Your doing good keep it up.

I can't imagine what could go wrong. There were a couple things I questioned while I was watching but you addressed all of them by the end. If anything you might find a problem with the old faucet or you may want a larger line running in and out of the pump causing low pressure.

Hello Sarah, Happy Sunday to you and Ruby. You should be proud of yourself. You did this build with lil guidance. I am worried about your pee container. You said you pee a lot. Unless you plan on emptying your container a lot. I would get a bigger one. I will put my bet on you. Seeing what I have seen and you taking your pee thing out of the sink, smart move, you should be golden. FYI you are so beautiful. Have fun and have some Gumbo too

Killings at Sarah's not good...The pee funnel would have worked if it was going into a black tank either way you will figure it out when the time comes...
