I absolutely am obsessed with this live version of Walcott. It's superb and besides that; A) Ezra has the voice of an angel B) The violins slay C) This is the most quintessential VW song in my humblest of opinions.

You got it!
goddamn rostam is so talented
Must've played their classic debut to death during my college years. This live version of Walcott is just simply amazing :-)
It sounds slightly off and less weighty without the familiar piano part but, like M79, having those violins be so front and centre is so, so great to listen to.
The violin brings me to tears

Wow, hate discovering this so late. I admire all of you who came before me.
I don't know if it's the dudes voice, the acoustics in the room, or both, but goddamn, this sounds angelic

i’m high and literally cried at how beautiful this is, those violins...
Just discovered this tonight. So glad I did. You must see M79 Pitchfork Live as the encore. I promise you will not be disappointed.
2019 and still rocking this everyday!
1. Shawl sweater + Ezra = :) 2. Rostam's mesmerizing, beautiful arrangement + strings. The florid string harmonies reminded me of the beginning of the Flower Duet from Lakmé...
the emotions are real when the guy digs deep into that chello
This makes me want to play violin again
Just keep coming back to this... the change up with the strings in the middle at 2:17
Wow, they are great live! Thanks for sharing. I love this!
2017 and this is still GOLD
