Best arcade game ever

I remember watching my uncle play this as a kid and the memory of it came to me and I found this was the game he was playing

I remember playing this on ps2. God i swear those on rail shooter games have corny ass dialogue lol. Not that it's a bad thing, it's part of the games' charm

well back in those days it wasn't unheard of for these low budget arcade railshooters to of course not want to spend too much on voice acting...they usually just ended up getting the dev team to do the voices and yeah there are many stories of them hamming up the performances...I mean just like at House of the Dead 2

@@isaiahhellems7901 He's playing this either with a controller or a keyboard and on PC. You can see the mouse pointer at one point and the stiffness of the crosshair. I did played this on cabinet a decade ago and it's much harder, partly because arcade version usually set the difficulty to the hardest to make money, and partly because to reload your gun in arcade you have to point the gun out of the screen and shoot, which resets your aim. It won't be possible to hose down a boss like this if it was an arcade cabinet.

You can already the foreshadowing at the broken bridge jumping scene.

And to think, this game were similar with House of the Dead.

Namco also created Ninja Assault and MAZAN: Flash of the Blade, due to Japanese demon & monster hunting arcade game theme

Same developer actually. Sega AM1 (known in this time as Wow Entertainment) was contracted by Bandai Namco to make Vampire Night. Aspects of that game would later made it to House of the Dead 3

Second boss voice and design remind me to Hanged Man HOTD

These bosses look pretty difficult but fun. I'm a HOTD fan and was wondering where there are any cabinets of this game (I'm not even sure if any exist anymore)? Are you playing on an emulator or did you track one down?

Saw 1 arcade cabinet for this game way back in the early 2000s, most arcades only had hotd as their shooter, tho I love the aesthetic of this game more over hotd

@@VSSEDragon3 Time Crisis has a duck and cover gameplay mechanic while fighting terrorists, mercenaries and criminals. Both House of the Dead and Vampire Night just stand there and shoot at Zombies and Vampires.

the 2nd boss is basically the hangedman but with fire Resistance potion💀 Edit: also the 3rd is magician if he had a stand💀💀💀

The bosses are acutally once humans they just wanted to be vampires for their reasons. Bathe'lemy view humans as fragile being despite he was human before, Guillaume was exiled due to his inhuman experiments (God I hate this bastard), Rauol lost his lover, and Diane was persecuted since she was a mermaid.

No i dont think so it’s something else, it was from memory they were created by dracula aka the final vampire wish to die or something so those two were created to kill him him but failed and the vampire went into hiding or something for 300 years. So when they’re technically immortal hollow human husk searching to kill the vampire for 300 years because its what they were created to do and when they finally did its why they burned up also with the vampire. This is what I remembered vaguely from reading about this game years ago
