She Wants Revenge ^.^ I was just listening to them before I watched this. You guys looked fabulous. I loved that man's outfit as well. I agree about not putting yourself into a box. People labeling themselves into sub-categories like that seems to be a new thing because 19 years ago, I don't remember people saying "I'm death rock" or "I'm trad goth". It was mostly just labels for music and fashion, like if you stumbled across a website that sold trad goth clothing and music, for instance. As for me, I'm like you guys, I just like to mix and match, even pinup, or 1920s fashion, etc.

I don't get it either. I think it's better to just wear whatever you want. I wouldn't even know how to label myself because sometimes, I want to wear a Victorian gown and the next day I want to wear a mini skirt and fishnets. To have to only wear one style would be so boring to me.

Lady Midnight Thank you! We did have a really good time. I hope to go on more adventures soon, although winter is not ideal for adventuring. When spring comes there will probably be more fun things going on.

Pretty much dressed as you see me now, way back in 1999, I met up with this new friend on a night out... who to my surprise, turned up with a bunch of other guys all dressed with cravats, white makeup and dark clothes. I was a little too "normal" looking haha but anyway, I was invited along to an underground goth nightclub where the setting was very much like a church. I went through the lobby of this pristine rather ordinary and normal hotel and descended below into a cave like something straight out of a Dracula movie. LOTS of church candles, black brick walls and stained glass windows. I was only 19 at the time and my experience being out and about at that stage was very limited to the normal stuff. I have autism and ADHD and this experience made even me feel "normal" haha! A bit irrationally unnerving, but exhilarating and fun. Lots of girls dancing with their arms behind their backs... looked very odd, but really cool. Not trashy but very elegant and organised. I had never seen people dance like that before. I just sat there gawking at everyone haha! All the guys looked like something from interview with a vampire. My mind was blown and I must have stuck out like a sore thumb. Was a pretty interesting night to say the least.

I really think it’s the new generation that can’t really tell the difference between punk and goth. I know sometimes it can be hard but it’s clear for the most part.

Nico I'm glad you think so! I feel like it's pretty obvious as well, but people seem to continually yell "punk" at me, which can get tiresome

Ahhhh, Mikado’s! I’ve been a few times myself, love the music. It’s not fancy by any means, but always a good night at The Vampire Ball. I even saw some people I knew in the video and through the darkness. lol Too bad it’s no more 😕 I can’t dance worth shite, but I had fun dammit. You two looked faaaabulous!

Fantastic video. Every time you have videos showing super glittery lips, I want to know how you do it.. and how you keep the lip glitter from falling off or fading.

Definitely! I would absolutely love to! We were out in Hope a couple of years ago and took a day trip to Vancouver. It was SO MUCH fun! Of course, we were just winging it and really had no idea what to do or where to go. I imagine it would be a lot more fun if we actually had someone to tell us where all the cool stuff is! I don't have plans to head back that way at the moment, but if we do in the future, I will hit you up for sure! Thank you for the offer.

Hellga Protiv I would absolutely love to do a "wardrobe tour" video, but I don't even know how to go about it. I have SOOOOOO many clothes and accessories - it would be a BEAST of a video! You can kind if see the extent of it in my "apartment tour" video, if you have watched it. It is on my "to do" list, believe me, I just gave to figure out how to do it!

Miss E You can make a whole cycle of video: first, for example, your most favorite clothes, then what you sewed yourself. Or first shoes, then dresses, then accessories, etc. All viewers will like it. I saw your apartment tour, it was very interesting! (sorry for my English)

Grimmalkin61 They are called Vamp Lashes and they are by Manic Panic. They are my everyday eyelashes! Believe it or not, sometimes when I want to look special, I wear even longer ones!
