The reason this story works so much better than many of the others is that it appears to follow The Hero's Journey narrative: 1. Call to Adventure (Lucas sees a strange bat); 2. Meet your mentor (Carissa) and so on.

Yees! The unexpected continuation of their adventures and the long-awaited advancement of their relationship. Lucas showed himself as a selfless and brave hero. Along with the transfer of air, Carissa was happy to touch his lips. This is a life kiss. Was she an ancient knight or even a paladin? That's when she found that stone with vampire powers?

Without talking, it's a good guess what there thinking and it's funny at times. Love these animations

I I think dark future is an alternative reality and this is a new remake of the series and it is making a new future and(just hunch/theory) that timeline characters will collide and help the characters were following to make a better future.
