This treatment is not advised for children under the age of 12 and people above the age of 65, during menstruation, pregnancy and to sensitive and delicate people with great fear, anguish or anxiety.
One should adopt Vamana karma in Ayurveda for the spring season as it works as a preventive therapy to cure the disorders related to Kapha.
