Liverpool fans triggered.. I'm a stevie G fan but Valverde is top notch He's 24 and already done from club football, he won everything and was a sublime key player in all. The right flank and the CM position is his dominance area, stop underrating him cause obviously media has no attention in a Uruguayan youngster. The football he deliveres is nothing to watch on Hollywood but it has something that glitches, makes a win very easy to grasp.

In all my years watching football I never seen anyone comparable to Valverde. He’s the only player who gave his team a plus one player advantage.. as in 12v11. He was part of the front three with Benzema and Vini playing as a RW but played defense like he was RB. He’s a mad man the way he played like his speed and stamina has no limit. I believe that was the biggest reason Madrid won the championship league in 21. I’m happy Ancelotti don’t have to do that anymore with Bellingham and Rodrygo starting so we can see Fede play for years.

That’s totally wrong. He’s highly rated because he’s in Madrid. He had a 2 great month period in the beginning of the 22/23 season and then fell off being average the rest - and yet EA sports are bumping his rating to 88. Not that EA rating is everything and the proper metre but he wouldn’t be this highly rated if it weren’t for him being here.

He only played half season as a top player. First part of 22-23 season was his best. After the World Cup he disappeared sadly. If he come backs to his form yes we can compare with Gerrard but his current form not even close to legendary Liverpool midfielder.

Valverde is a great player, of course. But this comparison obviously doesn't make sense for anyone who uses a body organ called brain to think and act and who actually saw Gerrard playing in his prime. Gerrard was simply one of the greatest midfielders in football history. Technically Gerrard was at least 200 times superior to Valverde. They are on completely different levels. Unfortunate and stupid comparison...

Gerrard and Lampard were extremely overrated. They don’t have any silkyness of those Spanish midfielders. Long ball defensive minded. Heavy touches. Not press resistant.
