Now the Valve Trombone can get as much love as the Slide Version does.

Juan Tizol played Valve Trombone w/ Duke Ellington, quite an Icon.

Valve Trombones are great for if you're playing while riding a Horse or Marching. The true Marching Trombone is a Valve Trombone.

These are also common in Tejano/Conjunto Music.

The common problem with Valve Trombones is that they tend to play Sharp but with Valve Slide Triggers for the outer 2 Valves, you can get those notes to play more in tune.

Yeah, that's what they tell me. Too bad they cannot design it to be in better pitch from the get go, but I am no acoustical engineer. I'm just a plumber on band instruments. LOL

Its surprising that none of the instrument makers have triggers for valve trombone. I used to play valve trombone in highschool and my first year of university to play jazz.

Yeah, it's if these are so bad, why can't they make the right in the first place?

I have got one Kanstul, is very good, but it weighs a lot. I would like those saliva outputs and the tuning levers.
