The comforting way in which Kevin said “Heeeeyyy friends, how are ya?” At the beginning made me feel like I was in danger. Like a dog about to be taken out back

So, fun fact for anybody who gives a shite, the whole plot with ending Cave Johnson's suffering was a cut concept from portal 2, where he would have asked Chell and Glados to kill him. The only difference was that instead of a giant statue head of himself, he was supposed to be shaped like a giant companion cube.

This game is set in the past. The blue robot has the old aperture logo on it. Cave Johnson is canonically dead in portal 2. He died of moon rock poisoning in the 1980s
