I love my home town. And i miss valsad. Is very peaceful and so many memories in this town with my family and friends. Anyway…. From goa

The last i was in Valsad was in 1979. Many roads you toured in this video did not exist then. Good to see some 20% old buildings such as Shanti Bhuvan still stand. The landmarks such as the Tower and Water tank are still intact. Railway station is un-recognizable. Glad there are speed bumps all along and some roads have dividers. In the 70s, the "Tonga" was the main mode. Rickshaws were just entering the market. Most of the streets are still narrow for a city bus. The dogs and cattle still have the same freedom as the rest of citizenry. Just amazing to imagine all the street vendors settle in every morning and be gone at night only to repeat it the next day. Impressed at how an old lady would feel free to settle in on the steps to someone's home to sell a basket of ripe bananas. Function over form every where. Commerce everywhere. Navigating thru the innumerable obstacles along the way requires super-human skills yet everyone does it so effortlessly. Thanks for such a grand tour. Would love if you are able to add a map of the route you took so some folks like us who have faint memories get some bearings.

Just want add one more famous name in Indian History, name of the first Indian Army Chief, Padma Bhushan Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw who was born in Amritsar, but his parents were from Valsad, a Parsi Family of Valsad.

Sorry to say but this is only half part of bulsar- valsad. The main area of this city is missing and that is Bunder road which is included Auranga river. There are many VAD trees. From those Vadvai ... We call this city vadsal.

I have memery at Thital beach. Today I have money but no time to came in india but God bless valsad city very good city. Thitha. Is very nice beech but it is only dream for me but I pray to God bless all residents of town . When I retire I will go and enjoy the time
