@@ethan-y7n You have to change the scaling to full screen first. Nvidia Control Pannel -> Display -> Adjust desktop size and position -> scaling -> full screen. For the people having problems, you dont need to apply windowed fullscreen, u just put ur resolution on nvidia control panel at 1920x1080 u enter the game and put windowed 1920x1080 fill, then you go back to nvidia control panel and select the resolution u want to use on true stretched( has to be below 1920x1080 so for example 1580x1080) then go to winexp and remove the border and put maximized, there you go true stretched

Thank you so much for the straightforward information, you earned a Sub with this one. I do have one question though, Googling it didn't give me the answer I needed: Playing true stretched obviously stretches my Desktop as well, is there a way to have only the game run at 4:3 res and "revert" to 16:9 when I close the game? It's kinda annoying having to change it manually every time. Again, thanks for the great video :)

make sure when you select the windowed mode in valorant that you also select the fill option so it's not on letterbox

i use true stretched, is resolution just entirely preference or does true stretched actually give some more advantage? Personally, my crosshair is almost always where enemies are, so in theory if bigger targets=easier time hitting and seeing them

@@KerberosVal ye that's the main thing with true stretched since less vision doesn't matter if the focus is always where i am looking. But with tips from your videos like holding wide and shooting when they are still, it makes it more advantageous to have a bigger target where movement is negligible with that strategy

@@OvalHasAimBot ig but i switched off because its hard to tranfer skills in stretched to other games. The only other games that ik can stretch are cs and rust. I do think slower movement speed is easier for me tho. Low sens makes my micro control extremely good so no need to worry about hitting targets but decerning when ur crosshair is on target is difficult. In lower elo u can sorta take ur time with ur shots so like ur said. But in high elo alot of the time u cant really take ur time and have to shoot mid strafe battles.

for me my games can run at stretched, i mainly play fps games that can also support stretched so thats not of concern. I do feel like slower movement is easier as well, but I like the reponse i get from my brain when I see something move faster which makes me react faster. I play on low sens too, 0.19 800 dpi, and my micro corrections are my stronger suit because of it. But yeah when tracking (which i try not to do in val), its hard to time perfect shots on targets because the movement is very traily when tracking, which is why Im trying to do more click timing so that I can guarantee that one tap with more precise shots. Rn Im ascendant 1, which i consider low elo because there arent one tap demons like you yet in my lobbies, so i do have some time to strafe and take my time, but yeah im trying to implement less time to kill, and secure a nice easy frag.@@KerberosVal

It works very good for me, but only for one round. When i play another round i always have blackbars at the Top and Bottom. I have to do the whole processes again to get back too true stretched. Does someone have the same problem? Or any fixes?

does this work if my native res isnt 1080p? because my monitor's native res is like 2540 by 1080 or smth like that and its the only res that has a high refresh rate and 1080p has a lower one

if u load into the game with the same stretched res each time, as long as u didnt leave mid game, u do not need to do anything. Otherwise just repeat the guide again. It should not be resetting every round/game. It would only break if u alt f4 or crash etc

@@Necronwomp honestly no 😭. every time I get into a game it’ll give me black bars. I just redo the process and it works. since I have to do it every game I’ve gotten good at doing it quickly so it only takes me about 10 seconds at the start of every game.
