4:54 so the explanation to this scene is... Phoenix has his ultimate ability that basically allows him to resurrect himself when he his shot at in this duration. If you rewind a few seconds, you can see Jett's fingers move, as if she's pretending to be dead but she isn't (4:50), so she fires at Phoenix first, killing his ult, and Yoru (the guy with the blue jacket) shoots exactly at the same time, so the bullet passes through Phoenix to hit Jett. Pretty awesome scene if you ask me.

The game is basically Search & Destroy. 1 side plants the spike (bomb) and the other tries to defuse it. It's cool that they're turning the fact that in a game you can face the same character as you into an actual lore thing. Seems new and fresh. Not sure about deeper lore though. And yes you guessed the name of Viper 100% correct! Riot is so good with cinematics, I love it! Think my favorite Valorant piece of content is the Die for you animated music video they put out. Pretty sure I listen to that song almost every day and the 2D animation is sooo good. Can't wait for that to pop up eventually, when you guys get to it.

Jett was technically injured on the floor and she got up. If you remember, Yoru shot her, and then when Phoenix showed up, she was on the floor behind him because he stepped on her. :)

So the lore in a quick summary: On earth there was an event called "the first light" and then radianite appeared as well as radiantes people with superpowers like jett the windbender or Phoenix the firebender or yoru aka the blue guy form retake interdimensional fighter. Chaos spread all over the world and then the valorant protocol has been created lead by Brimstone veteran soldier and viper mad chemist and they recruit other agents. They split up into radiantes and radiante tech users like killjoy aka the girl in yellow jacket and a turret. They formed it to ensure peace but later on they faced the attacks from the omega earth a parallel existing earth which wants radianite for themselves. The reason is unknown. And so they fight each other. The spike is the bomb in game and the thing killjoy build is the defuser. Each agent has its own abilities and a ultimate abilit which has to charge for example Phoenix becomes well Phoenix for a short time if he died he returns back or viper creates a giant toxic cloud in which she sees enemies better then they do. Overall there's a lot of lore behind every single agent since each one of them has a diffreny background some even a criminal one. PS: you didn't watch warm up and there you can see some other characters as well. And there are a few trailers to new agents if you want to watch them you ll understand more maybe. If not than the community or even me will explain anything (and daddy chamber is the best XD) Editor note: the music video "die for you" is great and reveals a lot of lore and backstory of brimstone, sage and phoenix

He's like a rich genius of valorant and a veeeery controversial character in terms of lore because he is in the protocol but stil sabotages a lot of stuff and he's the only one who gets along with his alter ego pretty well. Take a look: we know that Brimstone lost his friend in the first light from the banner and from Twitter we know that he promised him to take care of his daughter who we probably see in the video (his friend was afroamerican and so is the girl in the video so it does make sense). Then we see young Phoenix holding a orb. The orb are probably his radianite powers he got and we know that shortly after he got his powers he burned down the college he attended to of course unintentionally (we know that from a banner as well). If you still don't get it then later you have the older and the younger half of Phoenix slowly splitting. In the end we see probably Fred aka Omen (we know that Omen was created in a failed attempt to cure him or Fred with radianite. Omen is something like Dr. Manhattan from Watchman. Pieces of shadows grouped in one place to imitate his body) As we know from the voicelines of Sage, Viper and Omen the first two tried to cure him but Sage was yet to weak and they failed. Now we could argue whether these characters are actually players or lore based characters but I got in touch with a guy that works there and he said it is both actually. So that people that doesn't know the lore see these characters as players and the people that know the lore see it as a lore characters.

The valorant universe started with an organization named kingdom. Kingdom was a science facility that was researching a mysterious substance known as “radianite” not “radion” and there was an explosion. That explosion was known as “first light” and it gave some people superpowers and in other more common cases, radianite was imbued into objects. People with powers are known as “radiant” like phoenix and Jett(the girl phoenix was fighting in the first one) other people such as viper use their radianite imbued weapons such as her deadly gas to fight. First light also created an entirely new world known as mirror earth. They’re at war with each other and constantly try to steal each other’s radianite by using a device known as the “spike.” It was the bomb in the cinematics. Hope this cleared up some questions and stuff ❤

I have been waiting for this for so long and this makes me very happy. So here is the brief lore of the Valorant Universe: In this world and in the game 2 sides are fighting for resources. With the attackers who are from the mirror world agents planting the spike (the bomb device) to extract Radianite into their world which is likely very destroyed from what we know so far, while the defenders this worlds Agents (these are what the characters are referred to) are essentially going around preventing this from happening because well U already saw what happens when one goes off, which is italy in the ending for the first cinematic trailer. In this world there are two types of people. Radiants who are people gifted with powers (rare but they exist). Such as Phoenix (fire boy), Jett (wind girl), and Yoru (japanese void ripping dude). There are more of them in game and in future trailers. And then there is humans who are well... humans. And to kinda defend themselves in the battle field they created weapons and technology powered by Radianite since it is a very strong power source. Examples of human agents are Viper (poison gas lady) and Killjoy (the german girl with the mobile turret). and in total there are 18 agents with more coming. Now the lore is that ever since what the people called the "first light" (which can be described as some tear from other dimensions) appeared to this world Radianite was kinda like given to them. And it turns out its a very good source of energy. Another side effect of this is that these tears gave select few people super powers. (now there are some characters in the lore who apparently had or had connections with their powers long before the first light but we dont know a lot about the how rn). Due to this the public kinda views them as monsters in a sort (they are scared of them so they don't like them) but this is a whole other topic. So one day Mirror agents randomly started appearing in their world and started to steal their radianite causing a lot of destruction in the process. So... the Valorant Protocol was formed in secret to fight against these kinda threats. And Kingdom corporation is kinda like funding them in a sort and a lot of people(theorists and lore enthusiasts) find this company very shady. So now the Valorant protocol goes around recruiting people and fighting mirror world enemies while also trying to figure out how to end the fight for good. And with a few of the newest agents they were planning on going to the mirror world to fight them in their world. Using an experimental portal technology. But this got delayed because Riot is releasing a new agent, so now this new agent decided to screw everything over for the Valorant Protocol and kinda black mail them in a sort or else they would leak the VP's existence to the public which would not be good. So yeah welcome to Valorant. And if you are wondering if League of Legends is like connected to this universe in any way, the answer is No. Although league is a game in this world too. Killjoy plays it. Looking forward to more valorant content hopefully this helped you guys get a decent idea of what is happening. If not just watch someone explain it in more detail.

So the story is that there are parallel worlds to explain why there's two of each character. This was the only team-based first-person shooter Ive been able to play consistently, since my aim sucks. Goes to show how fun the gameplay is. Also, its called Radianite. Radeon is the name of a graphics card. Radianite is used as an in-game virtual currency in the game.(Its a free-to-play). No specific videos to recommend, other than to recommend watching more Valorant videos. ; ) PS It's worth noting that I read the double-worlds teaser at end to mean they are separate dimensions, but I don't believe that they have clarified it yet, in the in-game lore. I could be wrong though.

Basically ppl in the valorant world who have powers are called "radiants" and the "spike" is a bomb that steals radianite from the environment and explodes....in the game u play as either attackers planting the bomb or defenders who protect the site from the bomb planters and the lore is that theres different versions of each character thats why you'll see in some that they're friendly but killing each other the next second if you can react to Yoru's gameplay trailer next that would be awesome also chambers L' accord cinematic and warm up this was awesome thank you :D

I absolutely LOVE Valorant. Easily one of my favorite games of all time. Viper is one of my favorite characters (Good call on her name ;) ) and if you keep watching cinematics you'll see my other favorite, Neon! Please keep reacting to Valorant cinematics! It's amazing! BTW, The whole duality thing is how they can explain through lore how you can see the same character on each team when you play the game online. Each team can have Viper for example so this is how they can show that being possible. :)

The bomb thing (called the spike) is used to extract radianite from those green boxes. The reason why phoenix and viper were on the same side in the last one is because that wasnt the same viper, same with phoenix and jett (wind girl) at the end being on the same side. The valorant team from the mirror earth is trying to steal radianite and this the actual valorant team is using that "lamp dimming/brightening remote" to defuse the spike 😂

Spike isn't exactly a bomb it's a mining device it steals the radianite from the location but it causes an explosion and changes the terrain drastically the same as the first trailer with the flying part of the city

So the story in the Valorant universe is all about this new material called Radianite. This new material gives certain people elemental powers when they interact with it. (Phoenix=Fire, Jett=Wind, etc.) In the game, there is an attacker side and a defender side. The attacker side is from the mirror dimension earth we saw in Duality. They are trying to steal Radianite from Earth 1 using the "Spike", thats the bomb-looking thing you see all the time. There is a whole ton of lore in this game, and I love that they're one of if not the only character shooter that explains how there can be multiple of the same person in every game. Recently they went so far as to give Yoru, ( The blue teleporting guy) an entire story behind why his in game abilities got reworked.

There are two Earths in their universe, the mirror earth has been stealing radianite from the other Earth, so Earth 1 is trying to stop their Earth 2 coutnerparts from stealing it, so they're fighting against their parallel selves

the thing they deactivate is a bomb that steals the radionite from that area and creates the island from the first trailer. and they steal it from the mirror dimension bec they used almost all the radionite from theyr dimension so they steal it from the other dimension. idk if its understandable. The Valorant program where created by Kingdom. Kingdom is a hugh energy company that have found a way to turn Radianite into energy. There are some individuals that have gotten powers from this material. In the game you play as defenders or attackers. Attackers are from world 2 and have come to world 1 to try and steal thier radianate with a "bomb" called spike that when it goes of teleports the radianate to world 2, it also have side effects as we can see in the first trailer that parts of the city are now floating. Defenders are from world 1 and tries to stop it. As of right now therw is 19 Agents with a new one coming soon. A fun fact is that it should already be 20 agents, but agent 8 went missing and we know nothing about them. There is so much lore in this game. Some agents have beef with eachother. Most agents are from diffrent countrys (only Brimstone and Viper are from the same (US)) .

We have never heard Of that channel (but we hadn’t heard of a lot so not surprising haha) It was actually a song in the KZread music library that was free for all to use so not surprised that it is being used in other channels. If it was a song belonging to anyone then it would’ve gotten copyright claimed from the get go. 🤗

So, there are probalby already some comments explaining the whole thing, but I'll try to explain it anyways. Well, in this universe, there was this huge event called First Light, when a thing called "Radionite" was found. It is probably some kind of crystal that has a lot of energy inside of it, so people started using it for electricity production. When I say people, mainly this big comporation called Kingdom started using it. Also, it appiers this crystal does have something else in it as well, because there were some incidents with this "Radionite" that effected some people who then started to have some kind of superpowers, such as fire (Phoenix), wind (Jett), healing (Sage) and a lot more. These people are called "Radiants". And some people starting using the Radionite to make an equipment from it, such as Turrets (Killjoy), Tripwires (Cypher) and lot more. Some of these people were then hired by this Kingdom comporation. And then something happened, someone came and tried to steal the Radionite. After this incident a man from this Kingdom comporation and a scientist (Brimstone and Viper, both using Radionite tech) made a group called Valorant protocol, that was supposed to prevent this Radionite stealing. And they started hiring Radiants or people using Radionite tech into this group. Well, then appiered these people trying to steal the Radionite were the same people from the Valorant protocol, but from another Earth in another dimencion. Because on their Earth was a lot less Radionite, they had to go and steal it from the other Earth. So basicly the whole game is about people from Valorant protocol trying to steal the Radionite with this special "bomb" on one team and a second team is trying to stop them. Sorry if I made some misstakes in my gramar of in the lore itself because I don't know it perfectly and this is what I think I know right. 😄 Have a nice day.

This was just 3 for our triple trailer Tuesday. But to be honest we hadn’t realized there were only 4 cinematics otherwise we would’ve done it differently. We will probably combine Warm Up with the music video at some point 🙂
