Maybe the greatest band I've ever heard. In the infinitely creative milieu of Stoner Rock, they have a unique power and presence. I'm 60 and a fanatical music lover. How is it I'm just discovering them, and Stoner Rock? Unreal songwriting, singing, playing, everything. Respect.

Last one 'riding the dunes' is real music which I will still hear when I am 90 years old having my last drink

Yes. Valley Of The Sun is the greatest band that nobody has ever heard of. At their best, they are the greatest band I have ever heard. There is so much more going on than just music. Like life, it is eternal. I will toast this song with you on our death beds of this life.

This rules hard. I love that they don't fall into the trp that some fuzz / stoner bands do, which is to play everything at a mid tempo for too long....even if it's well written, I find those records just lose their way. This goes quick out the gates, but they still have the songwriting nous to keep things interesting (I especially love the acoustic guitar at around 17 minutes in). Just awesome.
