Need I say more? A tribute to the cult classic based on the novel by Jacqueline Susann. Dionne Warwick's theme for the film is memorable and moving. Sharon Tate received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance. The video is currently blocked in some countries, and I apologize if you are not able to view the video because of it.

Patty Duke was an underrated actress in Hollywood. She certainly was talented and kept audiences captivated in whatever she appeared in.

Barbara Parkins in the brown fur coat has to be one of the most elegant images of the 1960's. Great job, nice lady! ;)

Love this movie and the book. My favorites and the spotlights of the film was Sharon Tate and Patty Duke. Both played their characters excellent. But it was such a tragedy of what happened to both of them. One was gone 2 years later and one went on the worst years in the 2010z

I never viewed VOTD as a camp movie. It’s more like a melodrama or late night soap opera. It dealt with topics that were considered taboo at the time and it exposed drug abuse in Hollywood. All of the leading ladies did a fantastic job considering what they had to work with.

Saddest song in the world. But I love it..... Yes I do like this movie as bad as it was..., Would love to have seen Miss Judy Garland as Helen Lawson...... Sharon Tate was a heartbreaker in the film........ Very moving and very touching.... She was hauntingly beautiful!!! (How bitterly ironic she would die in such a horribly obscene way!)

Susan Hayward is Helen Lawson. Can't see Judy doing those scenes with Duke. When they fired Judy the casting Director did what casting Directors are at there expertise casting the right actor for the film role.

With Sharon's looks she could have gotten a job but that would have ruined the movie. Miss her

Judy Garland would have made an excellent Helen Lawson. After all, she had a temper and emotional problems. But unfortunately, they fired her, and Susan Hayward replaced her as Helen Lawson.
