Welcome to our USA road trip series, where the Travel Beans are experiencing vanlife for the first time. In this travel vlog, we jumped back in our RV and left Death Valley.. deciding to skip Las Vegas and, instead, made our way to the Valley of Fire State Park. Here, we find the most epic camping spot we've ever seen and had a race against the clock to get a camping space. The Valley of Fire is home to so much nature and wildlife, including birds, lizards, mountain lions and big-horned sheep.. we even get lucky enough to spot some of them.

⭐ About Travel Beans:
Welcome to the official Travel Beans KZread channel! On this channel, you’ll find a variety of travel and vlog content, in which you’ll see us in places like Thailand, Japan, USA, Slovenia, and more.
In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head-on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

You stumbled upon my all-time favorite campground and I'm so glad you did! We originally stopped there too one year on the way to Zion and went back several times over the years just to go there specifically (without being on the way to Zion). I'm glad to see it's still so affordable and beautiful. The one bit of wildlife they also had (and might still have) are adorable little bats that come out late at night and circle around the outside of the well-lit restroom, swooping down on the moths that are attracted to the light. We originally thought they were dragonflies, they were so small.Getting to see them was our consolation prize for having to get up in the middle of the night to pee as tent campers (no built-in toilet to use!). Also at night were amazing views of the stars.

@@Yvonnemar77 I don't think so. When I went there were two main campgrounds there -- one more developed with showers and bathrooms and one less developed with no showers (but I think they did have porta potties). We always stayed in the more developed one.

Wow! You saw big horn sheep on a random visit to Valley of Fire! Do you have ANY idea how lucky you were? Amazing! The reason it looks like a film set is dozens of movies from the Ten Commandments to Star Trek have been filmed there. You didn't mention the 4,000 year old petroglyphs. They are All over the park! Including Atlatl Rock just outside the campsite!

Love your travel adventures. You stumbled across one of my favorite places around Las Vegas, We were there in April and the desert in bloom will take your breath away, The vivid colors of the cactus in bloom, as well as the wildflowers among the red rocks is truly one of the most awesome sites I have ever seen. I hope you are able to make it back there one day.

Great content as usual. This video is bringing back some great memories for me. I did a 2 week road trip in early December 2 years ago starting at Arches National Park near Moab UT and ending at Zion and all the parks along the way had breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend spending time in some of the parks at night, especially where there isn't much light pollution. I did some long exposure shots and time lapses in Arches and was the only person there. The number of stars you see in the sky is a spiritual experience!

I'm shocked you guys walked around there so brave as having lived in the desert for over 20 yrs in AZ, I was amazed that there was no scary animals or insects such as very dangerous snakes, scorpians, spiders, mountain lions, etc that could of popped out at you lol ! Great vid of these areas though guys as I have through there more times than I can count to travel up north and visit my grandparents in Montana and Oregon when I was young. Fun fact - it gets so hot in Death Valley that there is rumor the rocks themselves even move on their own.

Hi, Alex and Emma. I recently came across one of your videos and was intrigued by all your travels. I know you are currently traveling across the United States to see many of our national parks so I wanted to recommend a future trip...should you ever want to take it. I know you are currently heading east so you would not be able take this trip on your current travels but I wanted to recommend that you might take a future trip along highway 101, that is the Pacific Coast Highway, and it runs all along the west coast of America. The southern end of the highway is in southern California and the northern end is in the Olympic National Park in Washington State. This highway is considered the most scenic highway in the United States. On the Olympic National Park there is the only rain forest north of the equator. This trip is really beautiful and I think you would enjoy it if you ever decide to take it. Anyway, I hope you both get to continue your trip across America. Have fun. :-)
