Its hard for people who didnt live through the cold war like myself how terrifying a message like this was always in the back of our minds. My family got scared for many years when they heard the tornado siren. The sound was like air raid sirens when they lived in Germany during WWII.

My cell phone turned itself on and an amber alert, which has similar tones, came out. Although it wasn't nothing as serious as a nuke attack, it was still creepy.

All EAS tones that come through your phone have the capability to power up your phone. Same for all mobile devices that receive mobile EAS alerts. Just a safety thing, really. Better that way than not.

Nice job. The one thing I don't like about these from all creators is the line nukes coming from an unknown location. Our advanced radar knows where they are coming from if it's from the northern hemisphere. From southern that maybe a different story

The nearest major metropolitan area for me is Boston. My home lies 230 miles to the northwest, so I would be spared the direct impact of the nuclear warhead. The ones that are killed instantly after the warhead drops would be the lucky ones. They would be spared the agony of survival in a post apocalyptic world. Depending on how strong the blast is before it hits me, I may survive the event. If I am killed in the blast, I would welcome death with open arms. It would spare me from having to struggle to survive from day to day.

You should make a Nuclear Attack Scenario in the city of Chicago or maybe a tornado outbreak for Cook and Lakd County, which would be cities like Palatine, Arlington Heights and Barrington

What even in Raleigh us worth luanching a nuke at anyway North Carolina is not even the most important state as far as political or military targets the only thing that I can think of in North Carolina is a few military bases down east but not in the Raleigh area so I don't. But it is only an eas scenario I am probably just reading too much into it.

The sirens have to go off first that means the official attack warning signal which is used in this case otherwise it would just be the steady tone used for tornado warnings. Here they discarded that siren for no good reason to me.

Not really, in reality the farthest the fallout would go would be about 200 miles. Plus even it did get to your city it doesn’t mean you will die, you would only die if you have gotten sick from the fallout and you don’t get treated in a certain amount of time.

most siren systems are controlled by the entire county, so i you live in the vicinity of both sirens, you will hear both of them, and if the city is big enough they would most likely have multiple sirens in the area.

The tones will activate a PEP receiver if the receiver can "hear" them. The loud beeps at the beginning of EAS emergency action notifications are actually bursts of digital information, and they're repeated three times to make sure the right information is conveyed to PEP receivers that are listening.
