I did a lot of terrain manipulating, so yeah the FPS drops to ~30 from typical ~90-120 while exploring. With screen cap going I loose a few more, but it's playable for me (though I wont add much more).

This game has that problem. I like making full compact bases and it lags even though I'm just filling it with stuff as I progress. So, I've had to spread out the different stages to make each base run comfortably.

Clever use of the pine tress for extra stability as you build up. very good looking base. musta taken you FOREVER to get all that black marble, shit is wicked expensive to build with hahah
@gergcas

Yeah farming the marble is a task, but I have a good method: you can get refined iron in the mistlands if you find those ruined bridge pylons, then break parts with the demolisher and use the iron to make a stonecutter bench and go around deconstructing all the dvergr buildings and other structures in the area. I only farm the flesh from the giant skeletons, so basically all my marble came from this method. Currently I am finishing off marble and stone floors across the entire base. I've gone through over 4 black metal chests full of granite stacks...

You can raise ground a pillar to make it higher, plus wider. Pillar Ground can be 2x2 (or 2 floor by 2 floor) to make it straight. Using Ground as Pillar can lead to 5.5x Floor Open Space, plus 2x Wall height ceiling. This being 4 Apartments high. This is the biggest and widest build one can do without mods and cheat.
