We had a chance to jump on 15 OEM's testing out the New Mercury 350 and 400 Verado V10's! The way these engines push these larger boat is defiantly impressive! The low-end Torque puts you back in you seat even when you think it doesn't have anymore left. Let us know what you think about them down in the comments below.

Although the look and shape is nice.... The lack of seats in comparison with the size is a big matter. If a whole bunch of friends has to go 120 miles... and very few seats... It has to have a balance between seats and fishable space.
MPG? nice it has 3 captains chairs
Assuming that both the L6 and V10 are actually producing 400hp and they are running the correct props for their max RPMs, why would one have a higher top speed than the other?

While the horsepower number is the same, the gear ratio and propeller sizes/pitches have also changed leading to a higher overall speed. Horsepower does not dictate speed. Speed is a direct result of how much water you can move
