The Valerio Albrizio Trophy is a hang gliding event, part of the Italian Championships, organized every year in Laveno, Lake Maggiore, Italy, with launch site on the mountain Sasso del Ferro. This year it was held from 9 to 11 June. The winner of the class 1 category (flex-wing hang gliders) was Christian Ciech flying an Icaro Laminar glider, ahead of Marco Laurenzi and Franz Herrmann. The winner of the Sport category was Manfred Ruhmer flying an Icaro Piuma. The Competition Director was Flavio Tebaldi. Further info:
