Rock the original pretty frequently and love it. The hazelnut liqueur note is delicious. Gotta try this one, been sleeping on it forever. ❤️❤️

I absolutely love DHI and DHP. Can't stand Givenchy EDP that comes off as a dirty diaper to me with the pepper and iris combo. Now I'm about to blind trade for the puig formulation of Uomo Intense. According to my tastes is this a safe blind trade @glamfinds?
This has been on my list and I will get it before it disappears. And I love Dior Homme Intense as well as Dior Homme Le Parfum

Might have to cop a back up bottle. It’s the only iris fragrance I kept in my collection. Only bangers.
VUI is better than DHI in every way. I own both and in my opinion it's not even close. PS: I have a very early formulation of VUI and it lasts 10 hours min.

Yes, I agree. VUI is earthier and has a wateryness to it (IMO). Givenchy Gentleman EDP is VERY VERY earthy. My favorite of them all, though, is VUI.

Probably my favourite designer (non-exclusive line) iris if I'm honest. Haven't tried Dior Homme Parfum, but I strongly prefer the more woody, gourmand-leaning iris scents. The entire line was absolutely kick ass until Born in Roma arrived. Suddenly I feel like avoiding people from Roma. 🥖

@@GlamFinds L'Oreal has released it after buying Valentino from Puig in 2018. I bought a 100 ml from a major dept. store last week, so there are 2020 bottles out there. Valentino also sells it on its USA website: www.valentino.com/en-us/men/fragrances. The dept. stores have frequent 15% off sales for the holidays and other times of the year.
Just copped a big bottle. It’s a Nordstrom exclusive and can only be bought with them I believe

Is Afnan 9PM sweeter than Valentino Uomo intense? My VUI just came in today, and I went heavy on the trigger so that I could smell it through my mask. While it is an amazing scent, it smothers me when my mask is off.

Last year I wore this to college and no joke my professor(who's a REALLY hot female) ran and hugged me and pecked me on the lips infront of the class and said she wished her husband smelled like me. I told her that after class I can drive her to the store to help her get it, and she said ok. On our way to the store she said "hey, I was thinking we can come over my place for some coffee" and I agreed. Long story short we smashed and her husband walked in and he was about to punch me, and just before his fist hit me he stop and said "dude you smell good" and long story short we became friends and now we tag team on her(only when I have time.

Which bottle did you get and how is the performance? What's your batch code? The current bottles are made by L'Oreal and the previous ones were made by Puig. I just picked up a new one and and the spring in the round atomizer broke just before my 2nd spray with the bottle!
Have you tried mixing two fragrances. Like spraying two different fragrances on you at the same time to create a unique scent. If so do you have any cool combinations of fragrances that blend well together

This might sound weird but I've layered Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge (br540 dupe) with Armaf CDNIM and I've loved that! Now that it's getting cooler, I'm going to start experimenting with layering something dark with something sweet- I'll do a video when I get some good combos ❤

It's kinda hard to imagine that any iris based scent can be better than DHI. Of course it's always taste but DHI I know... VUI I don't. Actually I'd rather spend 80 bucks on a backup bottle of DHI seen what crazy things Dior is doing right now.

Honestly- both are worth a pick up. Taste changes and even I will probably pick up dhi since I figure i may eventually love it, and I need to get it soon in case they drop it completely

@@GlamFinds If there won't be a budged I'd simply go for it now... cause of course you are right: taste changes. But DHI is my 2nd most worn frag out of almost 60 (after Iceberg Man) so it'll be hard to spend cash on something new which caters the kind of same scenarios. That being said... I might try to score a sample of VUI. Just to know 😜

@Glam Finds So I did organize a sample of VUI and I wore it today... VUI is a nice fragrance. I love the opening. The quality is there, no doubt. But to me the quality and the iris note are basically the only similaritys to DHI. For the rest they are very different. To my nose there's an obtrusive, tart note, or combination of notes, in the heart of VUI which I can't stand. In the far drydown (5+ hours in) it gets better cause the vanilla gets more prominent and the scent gets smoother. Btw, I realized how close Zara 9.0 is to VUI. Very close. But I never liked the 9.0 for the same reason. VUI is just not for me. I like DHI so much more. It has that beautiful cacao note which is absolutely magic together with the iris. VUI has the leather... which doesn't work that well. For my taste of course.

@@tobiasnagel25 those are probably the reasons that it works better on my skin lol leather tends to work with me really well! DHI isn't bad, but I have such a hard time getting through the opening!

It's not my favorite note it seems haha Here comes a request: Can you make a list of leather fragrances for someone who doesn't like lether? Like a entry level leather to advanced? What someone should try if he or she want to get to know leather fragrances

The l'Oreal new 2020 VUI SUCKS. Look for older batches.

I'm reading various reviews either way for the L'Oreal version. It would be surprising if they weakened the formula since their Armani releases are all such great performers (and I've told them numerous times that men want powerhouse fragances like those that were released in the 1980's and 1990's!).

Yeah, I wasn't sure, but I'm guessing that if your skin chemistry is similar to mine, it might come off pretty feminine

@@GlamFinds you are absolutely right. majority of men's fragrances smell feminine on my skin, especially during dry-down. So far, I've came across just a few colognes that don't give me constant impression of having a stalker nearby.
