Finally someone got it completely right on the differences between DHI and VHI. I like both, but the dry down journey as you describe is so much different. IMO, this is a great example of a house getting an intense version of the original absolutely right.

Totally different from DHI indeed.Similarity comes in the opening but goes away after. I even prefer this over DHI now because,this one comes to my skin as smoother and softer than DHI which tends to be more stronger. As always,good take Ashton.

these older reviews were really detailed and on point in my opinion.

FINALLY someone who doesn't say it's a clone of DHI. after the initial iris note, these two smell sooo diferent! great review!

How many sprays and where do you do with this one?

Just got this, i would not of even thought of homme intense if i had not heard of the comparison , this is more crisp scent, very nice but i prefer the dior line.

Can't decide between Valentino Uomo Intense, Dior Homme Intense, or Mont Blanc Individuel.. Apparently, all 3 are pretty similar..

MBI is definitely different than the other two. VUI and DHI have similarity in the open and then change as they dry down.

Jaji Olatunde Longevity is great on me especially in cooler weather. I wouldn't wear in the summer but if I did I'd spray it on myself twice but that's it!

Jaji Olatunde It really isn't but if it's your favorite go-to scent then go easy on it so it won't overpower to the point of dispersing too quickly so that it may project a bit longer

I think that it's also unisex personally, there's a little leather in there but it could be pulled off by a confident woman for sure.

I think this is good but to be honest it's already collecting dust in my collection. Great crowd pleaser but might not be interesting enough for the fragheads looking for something a bit more artistic.

Did you ever get the bottle of Valentino Uomo intense from Israel and compare the quality.

Please let me know how the Israel bottle goes for you. Which seller did you get it from? If it's Beauty-Outlet, that's the one I ordered from, that seller seemed to have thousand of positive reviews, so I took a leap of faith. Still waiting for it to come.

It's been almost a month and a half and I still don't have it. When I wrote and asked the company if this was normal they just refunded me. Looks like I'll need to order something new because I doubt this one will ever come.

This juice is so good! I need a bottle asap but I'm going to wait for it to hit discounters. $110 for the 100ml is a bit steep

Gentscents I bought this fragrance a few months ago as a blind buy and tbh I didn't like it much it felt deep and thick, but the dry down was nice..yet I felt it was hard to wear or if woman would like it so I returned it..is this a thing where you have to grow into it or just depends on the person ?

Yeah, depends on the person. Agree that it's a deep, rich fragrance. It may be that you feel toward this that I originally did toward DHI. Originally I didn't know if I could pull DHI off and never wore, as time went on I began to like it much more and now I'll wear DHI or this one without a second thought. People do like this one but you have to wear it with confidence as well. All that said it won't be for everyone and that's totally okay, if you don't enjoy it yourself then don't worry about it.

Gents Scents I agree man its similar to dhi with that rich iris note but maybe I'll buy a decant of vui and see if I can give it some use,but lately my nose has been changing a lot throughout my fragrance journey, like the encre noir a l'extreme I do like it and I never use to be into that type of dark rich scent I guess your nose matures into different scents within time

None of them, they are extremely feminine and dry down is even worst! so if you are coming from a decent male kinda scent, you will regret it buying them, trust me! YOUR WELCOME.

In my opinion yes, but it depends on your priorities of what scent you'd like in your collection. I prefer VUI over the original personally.

Agree that it's probably better suited for 25 and up but if you enjoy fragrances along these lines (easiest to point out are Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense) then you should like this one as well. Wouldn't say it's only for formal situations though but that would be personal preference anyhow.

This one isn't one that's going to be marketed towards teens, if you're comfortable wearing a semi-powdery scent that some will find metrosexual then go for it. If you are into safer things then I completely understand. Ultimately age doesn't matter as much as how you wear it.

@@jajiolatunde9655 It lasted about four hours and is a winter-only scent. I sold my bottle a long time ago. I never liked the smell, plus two random women said I smelled like an old lady, and that was enough for me to get rid of it.
