Indeed. I remember it like yesterday. No one in the team, no one at Yamaha, maybe not even Rossi himself though he could win it. Podium for sure but the win, nah. It was and still is one of his best races ever.

I just love how Rossi respects his bike. Talks to it and all that. Such a sportsman.

Everyone always understimated Rossi nowadays because he's old But for Me,Rossi has been influenced of MotoGP in Milenium He experience with many teams and never give up and he always has sense humor Now,he will begin he's journey in 2021 with Satelite Team just like what he did in 2000-2001 Forza Valentino Rossi!!!

What an end of an era now he's retired, i thank you for entertaining us with your life on the line. Though i am so dissapointed, after more than 2 decades moto GP is finally back to my home country, and me and my best friend big dream is to watch live race with Rossi in it at our country circuit so badly, but that's just a dream can't come true due to his retirement from motoGP. Now that the 2022 GP calendar is out and on march 2022 will be a GP race in my home country without rossi in it, we are so devastated. Only time will make us feel familiar a GP race without vale 46. Gracias Vale.

Not at all like Senna. Rossi is a clean racer, Senna was a bully with a race car. If I was going to compare Rossi to a driver from that era I would compare him to Nelson Piquet. If I was to Compare him two a modern F1 driver it would be Lewis Hamilton.

not like senna, senna wrestled cars through turns, it was meticulous, but he did chop at the accelerator through turns, rossi is clean through them

This video gave me goosebumps! MotoGP is never going to be the same when this man retired. Consider yourself lucky to witness this legend racing. He has very few years left in his tank, enjoy the performances while they last!

MotoGP needs VR46. He has so many fans that the moment he retires, MotoGP would lose so much money.

And thats why they didnt wanted Rossi to win 10th championship in 2015. Because there was serious risk that he would retire if he had won . They would lose a TON of money and failed to build a new legend (Marc) cause then the Old Rossi would have beaten the Motogp prodigy. No Wonder why Dorna and FIM spaniards let other spaniards do whatever they wanted at 2015 3 last races .

@Steve R it has nothing to do with boring. He has the most fans out of any riders. That's a fact, whether you love or hate him. Like in football, imagine messi and cr7 retire, there would be massive lose interests in football for sometimes before people start having new idols to ship on. When Schumacher retired F1, there was a massive decrease in viewer counts, mainly from his fans. In life, some people are so powerful that they can not only influence other people's decision, but also influence the direction of the field they are in.

What awesome about laguna seca 2008 is, after falling and getting back up, Stoner is still in 2nd position, because there is 26 sec gap between 2 of them (Rossi and Stoner) and the 3rd position.

These were the best years of MOTOGP. Stoner, Hayden, Simoncelli, Pedrosa, Edwards, SPIES, Lorenzo, Rossi, Dovi, Ayoyama, Elias, Biaggi, Bautista, and may many more that were just amazing!

No one can replace him from MotoGP. He is a trully king, trully legend, trully G.O.A.T , everything is always about Rossi vs .... (his contender). He love this sport, he love his baby M1 and we love him, I love him, he is my hero since I was a kiddo. Good to see him continue for 2021, although now he struggle a lot to win every races but I still believe "the doctor" is there, the time will come, he can win again someday. He is the reason why I still watch MotoGP until now
