A busstop/bus station could be a really cute idea to fill up the empty spot

I think it'd be cute to fill that little area with flowers! Stick a shovel in there and plop a watering can on a barrel and boom tiny flower garden! 🌸🌹

Bea is my favorite dog villager and fave villager overall! There are so many cutie dogs though, Daisy, Cookie, Bones, Shep, Goldie, ahhhh love them all!!

Bones is my favorite dog villager!! I have a dog named Bones and they look very similar, so as soon as I heard that there was a villager named Bones I HAD TO HAVE HIM. I love when he gets the zoomies around my island, he's so precious!!!

Heart ponds are so cute 😭🫶 Also I’m loving this island so far it’s so whimsical ^-^

The dog and wolf villagers are actually my favorites. I love pretty much every dog, so I just cannot pick a favorite. Also, this build is INCREDIBLE.

Marcel is my favorite dog villager, I’ve had him on every island I’ve had so far. edit: I would suggest a stunted hardwood tree for the area in front of the heart pond. It would give you more foliage and be small enough not to block the view : )
