Today I will show you how to make a Valentine's Day heart out of puff pastry with nut nougat filling.
For this, you need nut nougat cream that you drop onto a piece of baking paper the size of a hazelnut. You need to do this 26 times, because that's how much you need for your heart.
Place the hazelnut nougat drops in the freezer for 1 hour.
Now you need some puff pastry.
You can get this in the refrigerated section of your supermarket
You can of course also make the puff pastry yourself, but this is much more time-consuming.
Cut the puff pastry into 26 equal pieces.
I always use a pizza knife to make it easy
then take your nougat drops out of the freezer and place them on your puff pastry pieces.
now form small balls from your puff pastry
then form a heart with the balls.
Next, beat an egg until it is slightly foamy and brush your heart with the egg.
now place your heart in the oven at 220 degrees for 30 minutes.
