I was a 20-year-old rock guitarist when I first saw this clip on MTV. I was mesmerized. Now I am a 50- year-old film and media composer... and this song is still mesmerizing !!

I just recently came across this song. Its like a brilliant mix of Queen, Michael Jackson and Guns & Roses. Truly a masterpiece!

Absolutely brilliant song. A little strange, but the creativity just oozes from it. I'd even go as far as to call it a masterpiece of Dutch music.

I literally grew up listening to this from a cd collection my mom had!! I didn't even know then whether valensia were one person or many (yeah, it was still the 90s in Greece, we did not have internet in our house). I used to put the track on my brand new cd player and I imagined there were dozens of people, occupying an entire room (or mountain or whatever), singing and playing all these different kind of instruments and tunes in a spectacular show !! I' m 33 and I still love listening to it as loud as possible !! Thank you !! 🔊

"Queen", "Kate Bush", "Michael Jackson"... Funny that still no one mentions the song that according to Valensia himself was the inspiration for this song: "Hijo de la Luna" by Mecano.

an amazing underrated song.
Written and composed by a 19yr old multi instrumentalist musical prodigy from the Netherlands. Kinda mindblowing. Epic song. Google the lyrics!
A real
