I used a Gridiron Studios load out to turn this guy into a kit-bashed Hit & Run. I'm using the ghiilie suit for Shooter. I haven't had any flaking issues... yet. Holding out hope for a Classified Sneak Peak to make use of that scope.

Good and fair review. Vala has put out some good figures (the original Blowback being one) but he gets by WAY too easily on friendly reviewers that just wont call out some of this price-inflating crap.

Dude the straight up and down bipod is for one type of shooting the angled bipod is for a whole different type of shot in a whole different layout where most of the time you use an angled bipod when you're going to be laying down or in a exposed area for a prolonged amount of time so that you can get low and settle and make the least amount of movements and be as invisible to another sniper as possible. The straight up and down bipod is literally for shots where your posted up taking a shot, moving off, posting it up, taking a shot usually from a knee or a leaning position rather than prone on the ground

Thank you for the review. I like being able to swap parts and customize figures. Valaverse lends itself more to that than do Classified figures. Unfortunately they are overpriced and come with QC issues. $55 is way too much for a repaint and that cheap looking fabric.

I've been out on Action Force for a bit, but yeah, this kinda inconsistency was a thing through various waves (probably not to this extent though). And for me, I had zero attachment to them to begin with, they were just cool looking figures. I'm assuming you could reach out to Valaverse and maybe they'd do something, they seemed to have pretty good customer service at the very least. A great review/breakdown of the issues and the figure overall. You've become one of my go-to guys for figure reviews!

Remington 700. They have been they main stay of the sniper community for generations, especially the USMC. Technology is moving on, but still a classic. Agreed on the price point though.

Mine is finally on the way. Had to watch the review again.

@@Venom-cd7tw Honestly to my eye looking at the FMF test shot of Declan Van Helsing it looks like they sent the factory a copy of the Duster body and said "something like this". Yeah there are differences. But you'd need a micrometer to find most of them.

⁠@@andrewtaylor940 😂 I don’t think any company would want to copy those “overhang” gaps. These shoulder designs have been around for years used by different toylines with some variations obviously. Some companies pull it off better than others. it’s the gap distance that’s unpleasant to the eyes, but if it doesn’t bother you, more power to you.

Skipped this one because it's kinda expensive for it to be a deluxe. The ghillie suit prototype that Bobby showed was better compared to this one. It looks kinda cheap.

I was considering purchasing this Valaverse figure, but not really since watching this review. Would be great if the original blowback is available on one of the sites at the normal price for New condition but I haven’t seen many earlier waves and even wave 3 is becoming more obscure other than going direct to Valaverse unless I’m missing a site or two others which still have the older waves in stock but I’ve not seen much of that with the female figures whatsoever and few of the male figure either aside from valaverse site

I wasn’t too impressed with the guille suit, but everything else was pretty awesome!

Take it from somebody that's been there. We take a lot of pride in being makeup artists because in Hollywood makeup will have people taking your picture. Out in the field bad makeup will have people taking your life. It's a whole different ball game then

I have seen some dudes that were really really accurate with their application and I have been so blended with my Gillie suit that I had a Drill Instructor working as a spotter walk over me 6 times

@@patientmental875 I buy figures because I like their characters' backstories and personalities, and with so MANY characters in the Joe or MoTU or Transformers lines, we rarely get a lot of fleshed-out lore or histories for the characters that interest us, aside from the few main ones who dominate the majority of the cartoon or movie or comics. So If I were to buy a Valaverse figure, solely because I thought it looked soooooo cool that it just HAD to be on my shelf, then I would WANT to know about the character's story or personality or whatever. On the other hand I guess that's why I'm NOT nterested in buying any Valaverse figures... Because they mean nothing to me & I don't care about the characters themselves since I've had no exposure to them and to me (for now) they are just imitations of GI Joe stuff with no real attraction or identity of their own aside from the "quality" of the figure or accessories. So I guess that goes to your point on no nostalgia. We all get something different out of collecting, or buy this shit for different reasons, I suppose. 🤷‍♂️ I see what you mean as well I think, but I just meant that if I WAS going to spend money/effort to buy it or discuss it with people, I would want to know about who it was I was putting on my shelf, rather than just some generic guy.

A lot of trash accessories doesnt justify the price but Billy Bob has them all fooled & laughs all the way to the bank

I'm not in the business, but the cost is in the paint. Each time the brush hits the figure, it's a charge. And that's a lot of hits. Too bad about the full coverage face paint. A little flesh dab in the ears would be next level detail.

Someone did that and they preferred AF over gridiron as theirs is to bulky and fiddly to work with while AF is more seamless

Sometimes less is more, I'm with you I think that this just too much.

I'm not surprised. I was all-in on Valaverse until Series 3, which was such a disappointing step back from the quality of the SDS wave. I sold them all off late last year and I don't regret it. Their weapons are fantastic, but the figures are too inconsistent for me to continue to support the line.

I'm not keen on that rifle case either. The suit looks like it's pretty difficult to get it to look ok. Swiffer 😂

that sniper rifle is a real world sniper rifle. plus until recently allot of sniper rifles where based off of hunting rifles. the US main sniper rifle for decades was as militarized Remington 700 I believe. some sniper rifles are still based of of civilian rifles used for hunting and competition shooting. sorry you had such a bad experience with yours. I had a couple of the issues you had with yours but I'm still satisfied with my purchase. like you said though I think it's to expensive for a deluxe figure. I'd rather not have the rifle case that I'm never going to use or better yet a backpack case which is how most snipers carry their rifles these days. allot of them carry a light AR rifle and don't take the rifle out of the cases until they are getting into position to use it. also i think this sniper rifle is a thousand times better then low lights. my low lights rifle is a dtoppy mess that barely holds together. I had to glue mine. making the rifle on lowlight a break down rifle was a mistake imo. no one really does that anymore unless the rifle is something huge like a barret and you need to break it down to be carried by both members in a sniper team. I would love to get a figure with snow job's backpack and blowback's rifle. with maybe the handle modified so it's more toyetic for figures hands for people who have issues posing it. I did not but it is a little fidily IMO. as to the gilley suit I had some pieces come off out of the box but now it's not been an issue. I imagine you get some lose pieces in the flocking process that aren't glued to the suit but won't shake out of the tangles of the suit for a while. ill hold judgements on it for a few months I think. otherwise I like it once you get it sitting on the figure right.

God I'm glad I saved my hard earned on this release, because it clearly isnt worth that price point.

I actually prefer the shoulder overhang on Valaverse figures. I really wish Classified would start doing that. It's my one consistent gripe with the Classified line. The shoulder gaps on certain figures ( e.g. Flint, Cobra Trooper etc ) are an absolute eye sore. It's so annoying! Just fix the shoulders on some of those older bucks and I'd be nearly 100% content with the line. Or re-release some of those figures with newer bucks that don't have that problem

@@whozyourdaddy Fortunately the majority of classified figures don't have the same shoulders like Flint or Cobra Trooper. Most of them are fine. But when they re-released Flint ( tiger force )... why go back to that flawed sculpt? Stalker, Grunt, Valkyries etcetera are all fine. There's just a few exceptions that stand out in my collection so I have to try and hide those with the gash shoulders lol

@@patientmental875 I like how the valaverse shoulders look more natural and contoured, consistently. I just wish classified had that more consistently. Most of them are nice, but sometimes they will re-use a bad old buck. Like Flint's shoulders. There's no contour. It's like a deep, square gap from his collar bone to his shoulder. It looks like a giant cliff. Just stop using bucks like that and we'll be good.

I love your videos but you have a lot of personal opinions that turn people away from buying a product but it's not your fault it's just their perception but other than that good job 💯💯💯💯💯... Thank you…I think lol. So a couple things, I give my honest opinion on what I think and I will admit my experience might be different than others. But what I am giving is what I honestly think of something. Now as for knowing the product, I do mine so it’s right out of the package so this is a first impression review. I want people to see what you’re getting out of the box as if they’ve never opened one before. Clearly there are many products that I pretty much know how they’re gonna be. As for not completely knowing military weapons and things of that nature, you have to keep in mind I am reviewing the toy, not so much the accuracy of the toy to the real thing but playability of the toy. I took what you said as nice constructive criticism, so don’t think I’m coming back attacking defensively, just want to make sure that you and others understand how and why I review the way I do. Thank you for the comments tho, I read than and I keep things in mind as I go forward so hopefully I can continue to improve

Antenna easily broken. Ghillie falling apart. Giant suitcase. Rifle doesn't work well in hands. Figure and accessories are rehashes. That's a $35 figure all day long.

I hate the camo heads..way over done. Definitely dollar store sniper kit "hunting rifle" which is a shame because they make much better sniper rifles. Lost count of how many times you called him Duster..😂

Quite the negative reviewer here. Some of the things you're griping about are pretty ridiculous. A hefty price of $55 -For $55 what other companies out there give you a figure, 3 heads, 8 hands, a vest, a knife, a belt with a gun holster, a pistol, a helmet with removable ear pieces, interchangeable microphone/headset ear pieces for the helmet, a microphone headset, an Assault Rifle, 3 removable magazines, a Sniper Rifle, 2 bipods, a sight scope with a stand, a rifle case that opens and holds the gun accessories, a Soft Goods Ghillie Suit, and a stand? Seriously? $55 is a hefty price? You're either way too cheap, or you expect way too much out of $55. Rifle case looks like something from the dollar store -Its a case that opens and holds the accessories. What do you need from this item? A padded velvet lined interior? Got "Duster" out of his package. -Duster. Good start. Nice review. Not a big fan of AF Stands if you're gonna use them to pose -then don't use it, if you can't figure out how to get a figure to pose with it. You only need to plug one foot into a peg, and you should be able to get any pose you'd hit on flat ground all the same with or without the stand. It's an extra item that you had no intention of using anyways, and you're complaining about it. Ammo Magazine is too small -Most other companies don't even have removable magazines. Maybe just try enjoying that we get something a little extra beyond what most other companies typically do. The rifle case has a spot to hold these 2 different bipods -So it'd be better if the gun case didn't hold all of the accessories? Then you'd just be complaining about that. It's a toy dude, they're just giving you the ability to store all of the rifle accessories. So far at this point in this review you come off as insufferable. The whole point of your video is clearly to complain as much as you can. I don't think you're going to be happy no matter what. The camo on the face is just too perfect -MY GOD!!! Why do you even buy figures at all? You're literally complaining about perfect paint applications at this point. "Eennhhh, it doesn't feel like he really painted it on with his actual fingers." Jeezzuss Dude! Give it a rest, you suck.

I like how you meticulously went through each of his points and logically shot them to hell. However, you came a little unglued in the end. He really got under your skin and you let it show at the end. I like Punk and his content and I think his man- handling and his sometime child-like rants are a part of his shtick. Therefore, I take it with a grain of sand. Again, nice job though.

This is bootleg tier level of execution, the valacrap stuff is severely overrated. The only points they may have over classified is their weapons but the joe team is closing on that soon.

@@rokkieteller5421 yeah valacrap has been leeching off gi joe classified for a bit and trying to out do them and failing miserably, pretty sure a lot of his knock off figs went on sale last year because of poor sales. He has one trick which is making ''better'' weapons than classified, but with gridiron and classified uping their game, he'll soon run out of options and close shop.

@@Venom-cd7tw really? Do you have proof of his poor sales? Cause he had a very successful 2023 thanks to his all female waves and SDS series. And he showed it with his videos and streams. Plus many of his figures sold out and now going for double or triple on the aftermarket. Also compared to gridiron whose guns are $25-40 each I can get 8 guns with blast effects and mags for as low as $12 from Action Force. Next thing you know I see you bashing Monster Force or Ramen Toys for copying Hasbro.

Going after the gun case before you even opened it lol be a big boy and come up with your own opinions then to say exactly what other peers say .
