VAKKARU MALDIVES 2022 ☀️🌴 : Amazing Luxury Resort in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (4K)

Vakkaru is a pretty young hotel in Baa Atoll which offers everything you'd expect from a luxury resort in the Maldives. Its located in the middle of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, offering some amazing snorkeling, scuba dives and also manta ray excursions.
PS : careful, you can see villa 229 in the video but we then changed to villa 255. Hence the sign "229" at 1min25s but then, we're in 255.

Vakkaru is definitely one of the best hotels in the Maldives for 2022. Even during Covid, everything was easy and we could really enjoy our vacations.

Thank you for this wonderful video! I read that you went in December, and it seems like you got to see the mantas! When I inquired to the resort, they said the season ends in November... Were you able to go on a manta tour with the resort? Thanks so much in advance!

Hello and thank you for your nice comment! The year we went, we were very lucky as the season was "late" so we managed to see them end of November. My sister went 10 days later and could not see them, it was too late. This is why the resort is telling you it ends in November, it is normally always the case, we just got very lucky that this year, it was a little bit delayed :)

What Island would you recommend for a Couples vacation. Milaidhoo or Vakkaru? Do they go out to Hanifaru to see the Mantas from Vakkaru? Thank you!

Hello, I would say Milaidhoo is better for a Couples vacation. It's only for people above 9yo, which means no small children and it's also much smaller, offering a more exclusive experience. And yes, both places go to Hanifaru Bay :)

Count approximately 1200-1400$ / day (including food and activities) - of course, it all depends on how often you'll go and have a massage, or go diving. But in average, 1200-1400$ / day for a couple :)

Same as anywhere like this : don't fly if neighbors around, make sure you don't disturb anyone, don't fly above other's villa (or from very far like when I do I'm 200+ meters above the villa so it does not annoy them and we definitely could not see them ;) )

Большая половина пляжа размыта и не пригодна для безопасного передвижения, рыб нет, тк весь риф мертвый, а вместо рыбы острые валуны, обломки ракушек и скользкие морские огурцы! За проживание в Beach pool villa 101-106, 160-167 надо отдельно и много доплачивать!!!! Стремный спуск к воде у Beach villa with plunge pool 123, 122, 121.
