I played this grandiose tune on my grandfather funeral because he was incredible Gladiator all his life, he was person that managed to fight leukemia for 2 years at the age of 77 . May his soul rest in peace ✌️

My daughter chose this song to be quietly playing while I walked her down the aisle. The several minutes we shared at the back of the church, arm in arm in a little side room before this milestone in her life was just priceless. A precious memory I'll take to my grave.

I used this song to honor my father in his funeral in 2019 ❤️ He was and still is the most real man I’ve ever met in my life. He was a true Gladiator in his life. «Now we are free» was played while we carried him out of the church. Every time I listen to the song, I can feel a teardrop in my eye ❤️🫶🏻💫

My husband was my beloved, my champion, my Gladiator. I miss him so much. He left me 5-08-24. When we saw the movie years ago, I looked at him during the movie and I saw a man who had the same integrity as the character in the movie. So glad we had examples of the same type of man.

It still blows my mind how so much happiness and sadness can both fit into one song ❤

It is extraordinary that Ridley Scott has never won an Oscar when you look at the films he has produced. Blade Runner, Alien or Thelma & Louise would have been enough for an award but Gladiator I always thought had 'Oscar' written all over it with it's full panoply of acting, story , artistry and great music!

This moves me so much. It makes me think of all my ancient forefathers and mothers who I have never met. Wish I could sit down with all of them and ask them about their lives. When I try to imagine them I miss them.

I like that she is wearing something understated and letting the music and her voice get the attention. More artists should do that.

Japanese artist do this. They dress generally in normal day attire and go crush every show they do. Their music videos are no where near the pervasive manner of American videos, and yet amazing.
