In memoriam of my dad, who would have turned 61 today, 2024.
This song has always held a special place in my heart. I stumbled upon Andry Grigg's single version 20 years ago, in 2004, through an old-school Winamp online-radio that I had running on a computer my parents had bought me, when Andy first released his Gretchens cover. I listened to it on repeat for weeks, and it has been a soothing song throughout life's tragedies.
