Isn't using machines besides hand tools illegal in your state? It's up to 5 years prison and / or a hefty fine here.

Rather noisy isn't it. How are you going to know if puddy-tat is sneaking up on you or other wildlife worth watching?

He is not dredging, highbanking, digging into banks, or sucking up water, so how can you say this is illegal?
