I am with you on the healing journey between mom and daughter. My mom and i are in the same position. Never friends, always mom and daughter and authority figure kind of relationship. And a lot of guilt-tripping because she sacrificed for her kids of which I agree but she uses it as a weapon when she wants things or feels she deserves more.

This Vlogggggg! Yassss Shay Nicole! 🎉 I took my mom on a surprise trip to St Marteen & Anguilla for 6 nights and 7 days (April 2023), she was so shocked. We had so much fun. We were twinning with matching bathing suits. I watched my mom become a caregiver to my dad. My dad had a massive stroke at the age of 38 and is paralyze. But he is independent- pops is good i suprise him with 2 trips to Africa. My mom puts her family before herself, serve as a deaconess at church. She so sweet: and I’m only the child Shay. For this year I booked out 2nd annual mommy and me (surprise) trip to Cancunnnnn , leaving on her bday 11/29. I’m gonna check out this location ! I’m a bit nervous about cancun. Idkkk I’m from Harlem , I should alright loll imma return with a comment and let you know how it goes !
