MG has launched its ultra compact electric offering, the Comet EV, in India. We have also compared the price of the Comet EV with those of its rivals.
The Comet EV starts at Rs 7.98 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom pan India).
It is available in two dual-tone and three monotone paint options: Apple Green with Starry Black, Candy White and Starry Black, Aurora Silver, Candy White and Starry Black.
It can accommodate up to four people.
The Comet EV packs a 17.3kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of up to 230km. Its rear-wheel drive (RWD) electric motor is rated to produce 42PS and 110Nm. Talking about its charging time, it takes up to seven hours to rejuvenate the battery using a 3.3kW charger.
The ultra compact EV comes with LED headlamps and tail lamps, integrated digital screen setup (10.25-inch unit each for infotainment and instrumentation) with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and over 55 connected car features, and keyless entry.
Safety is ensured by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, reverse parking camera and rear parking sensors.
The Comet EV doesn’t have any direct rivals in India, but it takes on the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3.

This is a feature rich ,upmarket town commuter which can be used as a second car.Not for the masses

ഇതിലും നല്ലത് ഒരു വെള്ളിമൂങ്ങ വാങ്ങി അടി പൊളിയായി പണി എടുത്താൽ മാക്സിമം 4 ലക്ഷം രൂപയെ ആകു.4 ര ലക്ഷം സേവിങ് ആകും

@@drdrive1997 use a more steady camera and stick to one place than be all over the place , use a good location than all noisy places, and try to learn proper specs about the vehicle and then use it in the review.. I felt I saw a video where a school kids doing a review.. honest opinion mate .. cheers✌🏻
