Im glad you guys are covering this. A chronic neck problem can truly destroy a persons life. Being in pain all the time is a sad way to live. And the only "way out" that doctors offer are blood spinal fusion surgeries that dont even work half the time.

I served in Vietnam in 1966-67.Va never passed out disability compensation manuals for any claims of compensation. 50 years later I became aware of that only after getting prostate cancer. A Va. Nurse ask if I wanted to talk to a Rep. How many Vets came out Service as in the dark as me.

An exceptional video and very informative. Very professionally done with lots of knowledge if you have to go up against the VA. I'm going to give my representative one more shot and after that I'm dumping them like a bad habit and will look into your firm for possible representation.

1978-1985

I was diagnosed with facet disease and documented with spinal stenosis of the cervical spine I'm presently 40% for the lumbar spine with ridiculopathy in both legs and it's also notted from my cervical spine I have ridiculopathy in my files which is the best way to file for my neck condition also the migraines have been getting because of my neck condition

Same here...get checked for tinnitus, a lot of veterans have it and don't know it..%10 constant buzzing or ringing on your ears that never, ever goes away, they will help your treat it if you have it...

Can neck pain with cervical radiculopathy be secondary to my service connected lumbosacral strain with IVDS?

Seeking increase from 20-40 Cervical Spine. I have Severe degenerative spondylosis at C5-C6 & C6-C7. Multi level degenerative arthrosis manifesting at varying degrees disc space narrowing marginal osteophyte formation at levels C5-C6 & C6-C7 Where it is severe. Slight exaggeration of the normal cervical lordosis.

Thanks for posting. On my exit medical exam many years ago, the doctor wrote "Recurrent stiff neck, not been seen." I never bothered going to the Navy doctor back then. Since then, I have problems with my neck and recently were diagnosed with bulging discs and arthritis. Do you think that makes the nexus?

I’m currently in the service and have chronic neck pain. I also have tinnitus and migraines that are related. Are those considered secondary to the neck pain or separate claims?

Would I need a nexus still if after 1 year sep

I have facet disease in the cervical spine arthritis the whole way through my spine and it says I have mild to moderate compression of the spinal cord at c4 through C6 how would they be reading that and can I get that secondary to the my back can lumbar back condition and the arthritis in my lower back

Got separated without getting a record of my medical documents. Turns out I was diagnosed with cervicalgia during my service. Hopefully it’ll be connected.

It was connected! And the examiner also put radiculopathy on both sides, even though I didn’t file for it. Yay!

What if the VA clinic has you go to a chiropractor and the treatments make you feel worse, neck ,back and depression???

What if I have service conn. mid back pain and now it has caused alot of neck pain. Can a person get 2nd rating for neck?

It would be secondary to back injuries...rate increase

I already was awarded TDIU, Am I qualified to apply for supplemental claim?

Are the neck and lower back all one rating? Or is it separate ratings?

They scheduled me separately for my back and for my neck

If I claim my neck does the c&p include my lower back again
