I think is genuinely possible to do this irl. Of a V6 rental car can have the V6 swapped for a V8 in afew days (tavarish) then I could probably do the same to my grandmas caravan that has the same V6..

Wow, I can't believe the level of detail Flux put into this one. Going as far as cutting holes into the body to represent the rust issues these vehicles had. Another top-quality build as always 🙌

All you need is afew thousand dollars, and a hellcat RedEye V8 and you might be able to swap it out. Tavarish swapped out the pentastar V6 in his challenger for a hellcat V8 with relative ease, so it's probably possible to do the same with a vehicle with the same engine. Also my grandma has an 2014 caravan. It is the base of all base models. It would be a fun idea for someone to make a 1000Hp caravan with hellcat engine, mabye suspension aswell. But the suspension is probably not the same as the challenger so unlikely.

I can confirm that suspension is on point, and don't sleep on the Pentastar 285hp and the first three gears are really close together. Also they will use the entire speedo.

I can confirm that. Worked for FCA/Stelantis for years and that Grand Caravan would easily light up the tires from a stop. And the first three gears are impressively close together for a minivan. Spot on!

I too can confirm the minivan has first 3 gears real close, even past 2010 models, the car also does indeed use its whole speedo like its nothing, dodge probably should've made it 140 mph speedo?

I had a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan, it was one of my favorite vehicles I've ever owned. The day before my bday someone hit me and totaled it. Only got to enjoy it for a week.

Hello! I own a 2012 version of this same grand caravan, and would like to say that I can give you the proper suspension setup to it! We have indeed the struts (if i remember correctly) but the rear has timbren suspension instead (which i find a weird choice to be honest) Hope this info helped with suspension choices!

I did my first driving exam in a 2016 Silverado with a lift and exhaust and no side steps, the examiner almost couldn’t get in. Second exam I did in a long wheel base sprinter van, the van was almost the size of a school bus

I own irl a 2005 Ford Excursion, and totally understand about not ever wanting a minivan. I like the larger vehicles. I am currently building a Ford Excursion as detailed as possible in Automation, and it is starting to look pretty awesome

Y'know, it's funny. The Grand Caravan actually has 225/65R17 tires all around, so I'm not sure if you meant to do that, but you nailed it. The suspension, too. MacPherson Strut front, and I-beam/Torsion rear suspension. But the brakes are single piston, solid disc rear, and dual piston, vented disc front. The transmission is a 6 speed with manual mode. Hydraulic rack and pinion steering. Also, the Grand Caravan can be gotten as a 7 seater, not an 8 seater. Other than those nitpicky things, you got it pretty darn close. Well done. And yes, the Chrysler Town and Country did come with a 4.0L V6 early on. It was a Mitsubishi V6 if my memory serves.

The Chrysler/Dodge was available with a 3.0 Mitsubishi in like 1990, the 4.0 was an option in 2008-2010.

Those holes are just your standard dodge rust

My grandma has a caravan.. the panel fitment on.. everything is honestly depressing. There is like and inch of stick out on the bumper to fender on bother sides.

@@Kommisar_Lutter They are the best rally cars in Hungary to this day (mostly because the whole build used to cost less than a decent PC) all you have to do to them to make them be able to handle terrain was replace the shocks and springs or put a piece of the fence you probably have lying around somewhere, and put either chains on the stock rear wheels or get some used oversized off road tires and put them on the stock wheels (maybe even weld the diff) , and it would be a cheap fun car

Use nitromethane if you want to make a minidragstervan, today i tried it and yhe horsepower doubled without making any change to the engine, maybe you can do a 10k horsepower 🤣

I’m not sure why you have so many more engine options than me. I can’t even choose between single or twin turbo on any of the motors I’ve built. Single turbo is always my only option. And a bunch of other things you have that I don’t. Anybody have any ideas?

My grandmother has a '14 caravan. I did some research out of curiosity one day. Turns out it has the same V6 (pentastar V6) at the dodge challenger/charger. those can Have a 800Hp super charged V8 dropped in with minimal changes as far as I know. So therefore, this is entirely possible irl.

We have these as work vans, that pentastar is shoehorned into that bay. However, the intake is so tall a supercharger would fit with almost no effort.

Isn't there an srt Grand Caravan?

Rarely see minivans over here, my family has bigger cars like the 7 series or A6 wagons for kids, not many minivans on the roads either

Chrysler and Dodge made the 4.0 models but they were usually for the more premium version For example Dodge it was the SXT plus that came with the 4.0 and for Chrysler it was the town and country limited that came with the 4.0 but usually the 4.0 was a crap motor in the vans well as well all the other cars it came in. If you wanted an absolutely bulletproof motor for the early generation dodge and Chrysler vans such as the 2001 to 2010, you would want to get the 3.3 of the 3.8 the 3.3 and 3.8 of the exact same motors but the 3.8 has a bigger water pump. And both of those engines will run until the vans Wheels fall off or it rusts to pieces. I had a 2006 caravan with a 3.3 and it ran up until almost 260,000 miles until the van caught fire once by converters were cut. I've always loved these vans
