Tough one. I like the "idle sound" of the dyno max race bullets but i like the sound of the stamped mufflers when you get on it.

Nice stable. Good looking rides hanging around. I just ordered those dynomax race bullets for my 09 CTSV 2inch long tubes 3in exhaust no cats factory mufflers with electric cutouts just before them. Gonna throw the bullets right after my cutouts got just enough room.

Sure do love them drive byes, best sounding 305 I have ever heard. That Chevelle is bad ass too, got to love the old school muscle.

Only video on KZread with an actual before and after sound comparison!!! Damn, idk how many times I've clicked on a video to watch 1 and never even got it after a 4 min video lmao thanks bro this is exactly how it should be done and I hope all the others took some damn notes!!!

Sounds Great! Even with the stock mufflers its sound nice.

If you leave the mufflers where they are and install some tail pipe behind them, it should quiet it down a hair more than having the mufflers at the end of the piping. This has always worked well for me. Great sounding truck man!

LoRollinLS appreciate it man.. I do plan to add some pipe after them eventually I just don't like to add to much afterwards because to me it makes it sound like a 4x4 with glasspacks lol just my opinion tho

305 can do work on a budget we ran 4.80 at 163 in the 1/8 with a 305 crate motor

You can't beat dynomax bullets for the sound and price..got 1 not 2 on my 2013 F150.. she'll wake up the neighbors

How can it be such a huge difference with a 10-15 inches pipes/muffler(dynomax) which is just a complete hole in it.I have amazed with the sound.305 sbc turned into big block.

Those sound wicked with that cam in there. They sound chambered, (or at least thru my headphones), the website says they are a glasspack? In real life what are they closer to? Sorry I guess it’s called “ Continuous Roving Fiberglass” technology. Sounds like glasspack is what they are talking about. Anyways what would you say? Closer to glasspack or chambered?

I put that cam in a 350 with stock heads and it pushed the pushrod studs out

That place looks like it be muddy when it rains. We don't have dirt like that up north like in Ohio. Well a couple areas not much.

Jackson Froyo they sound somewhat similar but the bullets are alot louder and little more aggressive sounding

Luis Marquez well I think they do have some really short ones just for race cars but mine are like 12 or 14 inches I think

I can't believe how good that 305 with just a cam sounds. It souned great with both mufflers. It sounds SO much better than my 383 s10! Where did I go wrong???

That cam is gonna work best at higher rpms where the 305 can't reach at least not with any stock style heads but it does sound pretty good

DurtyNawf Side really depends on if you run any pipe after the mufflers... I don't really like the way they sound with pipe ran after the mufflers cause of the crackling & popping but some people like that sound.. they both sound similar I say the bullets would be louder either way

DurtyNawf Side that's how I used to run my glasspacks back in the day and they sounded good to me like that but I always had the longer ones never tried the short ones I'm sure there just a little louder than the long ones

Mufflers we're 3 in but exhaust pipe was 2.5 I don't remember the part number but you can look up dynomax race bullets and there ya go

It's just a 255-60-15 street tire on the back for now but I'm gonna put a 275 or 295 drag radial on it after I put another motor in it

We dont really have alot of laws around here on exhaust or anything like that but I'm sure if you was rolling thru town at 9 o'clock revving the hell out of it you'd attract some unwanted attention lol

Yeah bullets are straight thru design where Flowmasters are chambered so they're more restrictive
