I don't speak Korean myself but I was on another channel with someone who did and they made a clarification to the translations that one made me realize again how much we miss when we don't speak natively and two V speaks so prettily. The Korean speaker commented that at the end when V was speaking about giving Army lots of love, he actually said something like "filling it up with pretty hearts" to paraphrase. That feels so V and also feels like what he gave us in this album and all the live performances, especially this one. I think this version feels like his true essence. Great review. I am not a singer but always appreciate the insights you give on this channel during your reactions.

Loved your reactions! I had a feeling you'd love this. Also about the band part, he released two videos of him performing slow dancing and love me again live with this band! And he's looks VERY comfortable with them. He even played saxophone for a bit!!

Its V's back up singers being BLACK for me!! I love it! He's just so soulful and I'm living for this tiny desk reaction!!! He's really in his element and the album is top tier.

@@timothywaddell8566bts makes songs that are influenced by black people, they appreciate black culture instead of appropriating it. His song is an inspiration from black music, it would make more sense that his backup singers are black.

I love V’s soulful voice and the tall singer in the back is an incredible underrated black R&B artist JWord that works a lot in South Korea. ❤

He has said that he was introduced to Jazz when he started to learn to play the saxophone so discovered it while as a child. He's known for visiting Jazz clubs.

Regarding the singers nodding when Tae was talking.... the singers and band are artists that live in south Korea so it is more than likely that they speak some Korean and can understand what he says. 😅 Tae has a deep love for jazz, blues, neo-soul and had studied saxophone, trumpet and piano. He perfers to play a lot of jazz and classical music in his time off. He is an "old soul". Tiny desk Korea just started.... Tae is their first guest.

Taehyungs voice is so deep like ocean, so sweet like honey, so shiny and warm like sunshine, so rich like fine wine... I just feel goosebumps everytime when I listen to his voice.....His voice feels like home. The cozy, warm and comfortable feeling you love.

Tae LOVES jazz. This is soooo him and the lives are better than the album. Some of the musicians flew in just to perform with him from the US. Alto sax. Him and his ending fairies though are something else.

Helpful hint... if you are going to listen to the album, Tae suggests listening to it in order (he has done an mv for each song) as it is telling a story. The whole album is a brilliant masterpiece that highlights his incredible voice.

You should checkout his 20 second live concert and slow dancing live session he played saxophone a bit after so many years in front of us, he learned it when he was in middle school

The two ladies BTS have worked with them before I believe is was when BTS did their last USA Tour but I'm sure someone else will come along and either conform and add more information.

V can speak English comfortable now. He speak Japanese fluently too speak English and learn Spanish little bit too. He is loveable person. Unique and respectful he's also so polite. If u don't know he can play saxophone piano and learn violin too. He's an old soul person. His love for jazz had influence from his father since he was young listening to jazz and all kind of classic music

Taehyung used to play saxophone in school and he loves jazz. Many were waiting for this album because we knew it would be jazz and blues heavy. I’m 63, my dad was in a jazz band and I grew up with this music. I love this. The big sax was a tenor, and you were right, the long straight one was a Soprano Sax! Think Kenny G!

My dad had perfect pitch…could not read music….but could play anything with a keyboard…including chords. He amazed me!

I love a sax always have always will as it reminds me of the first band I was ever in as we had an amazing sax player she no longer in the music industry now she was killed in a car crash.

If nobody's said it, his "solo" songs on BTS albums are Singularity and Stigma. Maybe another that I don't know, I'm sure ARMY can add. 💜🥰

@@honks9484 I don't like the repetitive chord progression in the chorus especially. Not sure why he picked Jack Harlow of all people also it has no charm of what I like from K-pop artists, it's a generic pop song that any western artist could've done. It's definitely very JT coded. With Seven at least his vocals in the second verse caught my ear and the lyrics are definitely a lil annoying.
