They had a great job with BR but instead of adding more content in to the game and upgrade it, they decided to release BR Royale (obviously because of money, 'cause this genre was really popular) which was big mistake. They betrayed the community of BR and broke their promises about future of BR. I just hope they learned on their mistakes and now, with V Rising everything will be different.

Aw thank you so much! That means a lot to me. I've been doing a lot better since I started watching content from healthygamer, plus I booked one of his trained coaches to help me out and it's been helping me more than any therapy I've had before. Being transparent about mental health as a creator is super important to me as I hope to help minimize the stigma around it and maybe help some people with it. I really hope your son will feel better and I'm glad to hear that you got his back.

Okay, so a few things here: TELDO IS BACK, i missed your voice so much, i try to catch your stream but fail more often than not.. Vampires sound amazing, its quite unique actually, and sounds amazing! Full loot pvp... it depends on how its executed, im a hoarder, so i dont want to loose all, maybe its like a huge battleground? Aside from Ashes of Creation, im defintiely exited for this one!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm happy to be back. Yeah I think full loot pvp could be really awesome, but there will be a fine line between having it be rewarding for pvpers and too punishing for people who just want to have fun. But since it'll have servers you can probably pick one that has less focus on hardcore PvP if you want to just enjoy the PvE side. Ashes sounds good too! I have it on my radar.

Only vampires will be playable for now. You create your own clan with up to 4 vampires in it. Promoting smaller scale conflicts instead of having crazy zergs. I believe you can charm humans to work or fight for you though

I hope they make custom server so you can fight against your friends.

I actually wrote a long script for a vlog, but I feel like it's better to just get back into providing some content first. Fair enough. I think for some people Battlerite will just be more fun for sure! It'd be awesome if V Rising release breathes some fresh air into Battlerite too

They will close Battlerite servers after they release V Rising. :( BR will be still available but only with a custom matches where players are hosts.

I doubt that. Battlerite is their baby and if they wanted to close it they would've done it ages ago. It's not like they make any meaningful revenue off Battlerite anymore. They keep it up, because people love the game, which I really appreciate

​@@Teldo Someone of stunlock devs replied with that information in steam discussion or reddit, I can't remember well, I'll try to find a source later. As I know, their servers hosted by Valve, so they might just leave a few servers instead of closing them all. Or they did change their mind coz it was a long time ago when I saw that info. Anyways, hope for the best for BR. It definitely deserves more.

I did! It's a fun game

Stunlock made great games, but have always been in genres with too much competence for active concurrent players. Sometimes i feel like a single player with optional multiplayer game with DLCs would be a better model for they. I hope they do great with this MMO. If anything, ARPG is the a good place for the Battlerite creators.

Man I want to like this but stunlock broke my heart with straight up abandoning Battlerite to try and jump on the bandwagon of other stuff out at the time. They did their players wrong.

I understand your frustration. It's fair. Maybe take it easy and watch how things develop before you buy. Personally I'm really hopeful and got faith in SLS.

Scared it'll be a random MMO with a diluted competitive combat lost somewhere. Please let it have no grinding and levels !!

It's confirmed that there are no levels. And it depends on what you call grinding. I think they aim to make the game very proactive gameplay-wise and want to reward people to play the game the way they enjoy it. I believe PvE can probably stand on its own, but for people who want to PvP it'll be rewarding too, since there's gonna be full loot drops when vampires die.

It isn't an MMO though

For me personally it takes everything I like about MMOs and packs it into a more condensed experience. Which is why I like to call it MMO Lite.

@@Teldo Sure, and It's not a complaint from me. It's just that the first M in MMO stands for Massively, which traditionally means servers with very high populations - This game will not be like that; more like Rust.
