I agree with Daniel, a song doesn't have to be interpreted literally, it doesn't have to be something he's necessarily been through, it can be an inspiration or he can think that this situation matches the music he makes and I'm loving each one of them and stay tuned that there are 3 more mvs left to come out💜💜

Taehyung’s solo album is telling a story…There are 5 M/Vs for all 5 songs…The songs are supposed to be listened to in order…Rainy Days is the first song…Taehyung is very artistic..loves vintage, retro, loves art….some shots are in blue and yellow from view of Yeontan..dogs can only mostly see in blue and yellow..Taehyung has a unique perspective on life and unique personality so he was nicknamed alien in earlier years but also painting on glass is reference to Picasso..and also reminds people of Truman’s show…Taehyung is putting out his solo music album according to his tastes with his artistic expression on everything …not mainstream, commercialized…so we are really getting to know Taehyung as a talented Artist…musically and through his M/Vs….and not to forget…. his amazing voice and visuals..🤩🔥😍💜

Yes V is very much into Art👍🏾 He goes by "Vante" for his art persona. He's an art museum and gallery enthusiast. He is a huge huge fan of Vincent Van Gogh and Renoir etc. He is obsessed with a form of "face art" that he paints time to time that has his unique touch and influence. The face arts are quite quirky. The fandom named it as "Vante Art". One of which he drew in this music video on the glass for example. That's the new one that got added to the "Vante Art". Also, he uses Van Gogh's, Renoir's and other artists' names as his disguise name in public places many a times. If u pay attention to bon voyage u will get to see it.

The Flower and the Fox on TV are related to The Little Prince. 2. The rotating heads are similar to a Zoetrope, a device used for animation. With the help of a mirror, he is molding his face for this animation. 3. The painting in the glass scene is reminiscent of Picasso and The Truman Show. 4. There is a sculpture by Alexander Calder in the apartment. 5. Maybe the black-and-white scene is a reference to Lotte Reiniger's silhouette animation.

Did you notice that most of the colours in the music video are yellows and blues? That's because those are colours dogs can see. This whole album seems to be connected to V's dog Yeontan as well. The date of release is Yeontan's birthday, he's included in the photoshoot, and the Rainy Days MV has a lookalike plus the blues and yellows.

Yeontan has health issues and wouldn’t have been able to travel to Spain, his stunt double is Rocky. There is a behind the scenes which Rocky’s owner took, she spoke of how much love Tae showed to the dogs and how much they loved him. Sweet man.

Okay hi! I have a theory for the MV. Here, V is 'alienated' from his love. (They broke up). He literally draws an alien around his silhouette ( could also be a reference to how Jimin calls him an alien because V is so unique in general). Those papers and codes are probably him trying to decipher signals, highlighted by lyrics "wish i knew how to, find the way, right back to you". His apartment is also pretty futuristic. He's definitely an artist and animator in this MV. The repeating frames, the heads in circular motion are all processes of creating an animation. There might be a deeper meaning, but overall, in the first view, it's very aesthetic and obviously about longing.

Sigue con la misma vibra retro de love me again y las fotos conceptuales, hasta el empaque del álbum es retro. El MV es una metáfora de estar estancando emocionalmente sin poder salir de una relación como en un loop constante. Fijense que al principio lo dice (lo de los loops y lo de stuck). Para mi es como si viviera el mismo día y los mismos momentos una y otra vez. De la misma manera la canción es un loop que termina igual a como empieza. Tanto la música como lo visual simbolizan lo mismo, no poder seguir adelante porque seguís pensando en esa persona que amas. Además este tema es el primero del álbum, Love me Again viene dsp. Es como si acá se diera cuenta que no puede superar el amor que tuvo. Y si, Taehyung ama el arte abstracto y el dibujo que hace es el rostro característico que siempre dibuja. Otra aclaración, su perro no pudo viajar para España porque tiene muchos problemas de salud, Taehyung mismo contó cómo tuvo cirugías que no salieron bien y no puede ni correr sin tener problemas al respirar. Ama muchísimo a su perro (tanto que lo inmortalizó en su álbum) y no lo arriesgaría llevándolo.

V is into art and photography, his favourite artists in Van Gogh. He uses vantae (a combo of Van Gogh and Tae) where he posts his photographs. He has done customised clothing with his abstract art designs. Tae is creative and artistic hence why this video reflects his true authentic personality. There is plenty of visual symbolism in this video. Someone has interpreted some of it by saying he is playing the role of an animator and the painting with bread is a homage to Picasso who did a series of painting in the same manner. There is a series called Kim Taehyung multi talented king by VTS OT7 which is a good series to understand all of v’s talents and skills, from acting, creating characters, art, photography, songwriting, customisations etc. you might want to check it out to understand how artistic and talented V is.

Yes, V is 'into' art, very much so. He draws, paints and loves photography as well. You should check out some of the in-depth videos that tell you about the guys' interests outside of singing, composing and dancing. They are true all-rounders. For instance, Suga is an excellent painter and cook, Jin is practically a chef and is obsessed with fishing, RM has a genius IQ and loves books and music, J-hope is an award-winning street dancer, Jimin was the top student in his school for contemporary dance, while holding several martial arts titles and Jungkook is the best at everything and is extremely competitive. Seriously, I've just skimmed the surface. 💜

Thank you for taking the time to react to Taehyung's song and sharing it with us! 💜 Tldr; When they posted the tracklist for Tae's album they indicated that it was a concept album and would be better understood if the songs were listened to in order. Rainy Days is track#1, the start of the story, so we'll prolly find out what happened when the rest of the songs are released. I'm betting it's a happy ending, or at least something resolved, optimistic, or hopeful with the last track (For Us) considering it's Tae tho 🥰. Most of the other members also have a kind of song dedicated or appreciative to ARMY this Chapter 2 (like J-Hope's On The Street) and I'm betting For Us could be that kind of song if interpreted deeply. On surface level Love Me Again and Rainy Days sound like broken-hearted love songs at 1st glance; we have Tae who seemingly lost someone. In Rainy Days Tae seems to still be stuck in his loss, musically we have these repetitive (looping) sounds and phrases while visually things are going in reverse like birds flying backward, that powder Tae was pouring and even that trippy rose blooming. Y'know those scenes where there was a zoetrope and he's doing art like a self-portrait (with a baguette 😭). I think those were scenes where he's trying to move on and confronting the loss by trying to understand himself. Trying to remake or redefine himself, in other words. Water is usually a metaphor for emotion. There were hydroponic plants growing downward, w/c could be a metaphor that Tae, fuelled by emotion, is growing in an atypical direction, prolly bc he's still stuck and in the process of understanding himself. There's this Love Me Again analysis by someone else that really made me think that there's levels of interpretation we can get from each Layover mv. She talked about how Love Me Again could be about rl Tae asking the audience if they'll (still) love him as a soloist, a singer distinct from bts. She pointed out visual elements for the female gaze like the old monitors/screens, backing up the claim that Tae is an idol there. So Love Me Again could also be a song about Tae's current status as a transitioning group member to a soloist. Since this is a concept album, Rainy Days could also be about rl Tae as an artist. I mean, there's that Truman Show reference. There's a period of adjustment bts members prolly went thru as they shift from defining themselves as bts members to individual soloists. The loss in Rainy Days here could be about this. Bts has gotten so big that the challenges they face if they stay together may not have been conductive as their growth as artists. 'Cozy and stuck'. Tae is trying to understand, redefine himself, and grow here somewhat. This is all subjective interpretation, of course. It's just that the main producer who worked with Tae here is supposedly known for producing deep work. Tae also is a lot deeper and more introspective than most ppl think, I believe.

V es muy imaginativo, y muy artístico y creativo. estoy segura de que tuvo mucho que ver en el concepto de todo el vídeo, solo quiso usar la paleta de colores anaranjado y azul, porque son los colores que distinguen bien los perros, en fin, muchas cosas , nunca hace nada porque si, todo tiene un sentido, el edificio es Torres blancas en Madrid muy retro ahora, es emblemático porque era muy moderno en la época que lo construyeron. So I've read that the music video is about him being an animator. He's studying stop motion, watching different animations on the TV, making sculpture heads and studying his own face. To create an animation effect where parts will show a moving sequence if its played at a certain speed. There are inspiration sources to a few different artist Picasso for example. Which is also why there's sometimes the shot of going back and forth, it's both to symbolise the lyrics and sort of due to the animation references since sometimes certain animations are in a loop, with a repeating cycle.
