Caustion: don't mix too much quantity of caustic soda in glass container that may leads to breakage of glass and before using caustic soda cover your nose with kercheif because it's vapour causes respiratory problems (especially for person who have respiratory problems).

yeah if we use coconut oil for soaps foam will come naturally,, but in the so called branded soap not made up of pure oils,,

Don't do soap in this way. Any caustic soda left in this will burn the skin. If you really want to make soap use a soap calculator to see how much exactly soda and oil required. Then the demonstrator is making two more serious errors in preparing the caustic soda water. She is adding water to soda, correct way is to mix the soda into water. This is the safe way to mix caustic soda. Then before adding oil, causitc water should be filtered using a simple strainer to rake out any un dissolved soda pieces.. safety is very important aspect of soapmaking otherwise can lead to serious accidents

Hi by mistake I added 20 vit e capsules which I had for making hair oil. I added these 20 vit e capsules to coconut oil and lye.. my soap becomes so soft and sticky... when it is ready to pour in molds,, before that u can add neem powder, aloe vera gel, or anything you want,, mix that and then pour in mold
