Military service is 18 months for all the members except for Suga who has to serve 21 months because he's doing public service instead of active duty due to a past injury. Only Jin and J-Hope get discharged this year, the other 5 members of BTS will get discharged in June 2025. And yes all able bodied men have to serve in South Korea, BTS didn't have a choice whether to serve or not even though the government were discussing whether BTS should be exempted, but BTS always intended to serve. They only got to decide when exactly to enlist, but they had to enlist before age 30. And it just makes sense for BTS to enlist around the same time so they can come back together faster as 7.

It's V. The dry humour and with a British director just so classic but new. V's always been an old soul but with a modern twist. You should listen to his Layover album. I dont know but Americans versus British/European reactors , the latter not quite hung up on everything and appreciate the humour the art and the music. But yes it's a MV with a twist but it's tongue in cheek, representative of the diversity of sexuality, age etc in society but demonstrating the universality of love relationships. About all the making out etc, it's maginified to tell the story of love. Very artsy MV. And very V. You should check out his music. His music and self is an anomaly in BTS and kpop but he's not kpop. Thank you though for your comment💜 if you were referring to V being an anomaly within BTS and kpop, the former is about his musical style compared to there BTS members, and the latter refers to how his musical style doesn't sit within that which characterises the . industry so an industry anamoly.

There's a version he did for WKorea....it's live so you won't have the MV distractions and it's even better vocally

Don't worry about not paying attention to the lyrics the first time because you were focusing on the visuals. There were so many things going on, I forgot about the lyrics too! I only read/listened to the lyrics on second viewing. I think the MV addresses the common perception that you have to have a partner to be happy, that you're miserable when you're single. It shows you that it shouldn't matter whether you're single or jn a relationship. You should be happy with yourself, you should love yourself first. This is in line with BTS's general message of self-love and self-acceptance.
